Thanks for that Bono. You know how much i'm not crazy about his covers, but this one he really hit it out of the park.

I think Gareth did something really special here. He captured Axl's intended vision for the song, before Axl himself bastardized it.

Madagascar was always a grunge song hidden somewhere in it's hard. Totally grunge. Maybe not dark dark, but it's a song that captured Axl's mindset when he was digging the Seattle scene. Sorry too.

I could totally see Jerry Cantrell jamming this version and tone of Madagascar. Has a real "The Killer Is Me" type vibe. Dark, but soft at the same time. Mad Season too.
