He right.

I remember that excuse during the 2008 qualifiers and the 2010 world cup.

Today has been a great day. I'm fuck shattered now tho. Last night was insane.
I couldn't stop smiling & laughing this morning. Usually I'm a miserable fucker but I was full of joy. Everyone's loving it too, it's given everyone a lift and a laugh. Even the little old lady I met in the butchers was loving it. Brexit rained on the parade a little of course, but otherwise the day has been spent trawling thru the wreckage of another glorious England defeat. Long may it last.

Getting nervous about this now. Germany never beat Italy in a tournament.

On the other hand Germany is not hailed as favorites on this one. Nor have they let in any goals yet, which is rare for them. Italy taking out Spain, a similar team to Germany, might provide them with the recipe.

I see this either as a close match where Italy will win (because superstition) or an easy victory to Germany.

Germany are massive favourites. For this game and the tournament.

+ De Rossi's carrying an injury, Motta's out suspended.

Unfortunately this is the moment the streak ends.

Germany are boring as fuck, hard to love. With a disgusting manager who likes to smell his own arsehole & has a Hodgson-type hang-up about his favourite players (why else are gotze/wiltshere or podolski are in the squad?). Conte is a proper manager, even if he is a cheating fucker. All reasons to cheer for Italy.

I'm cheering on our partners on the outside, Iceland. These pansy eu member countries don't interest me anymore.
