my gut is telling me the 10 second clip is from 7: Drums up 1DB and guitars at regular level. and the new leak is from before this "version 3", but after the rough mix version

i dont think its meant to be slash, i think its a buckethead take. To be honest, both could be buckethead takes, however, the 10 second clip and the full leak are two different takes at the very least

guitars are completely missing. unless its due to quality (unlikely because i dont even hear a hint of them). i just edited my post with the direct comparison so judge for yourself

i grabbed (roughly) the same 10 seconds from the new leaked version and included it in a zip with the old 10 second leak)

Monsters showing up out of nowhere suggests there is something more in play than just the Perhaps vinyl.
7-inch records can hold between 4-6 minutes of recorded music on each side
So it didn't come from there.
It makes no sense for the band to leak it. There's no evidence the hoarders had access to it. That only leaves some physical disc available to be ripped somewhere.
It allegedly came from a recording studio and is about a year old mix

just more proof how full of crap he is.
None of us had the music until Rick sent it. I recall one night, having to wait for Rick to get home from work, miraculously about 15 minutes after Rick said he was home in chat, an email showed up. Like axl s said we didn't have jack shit unless we lucked out and coerced a clip out of someone in the investor group or walker. I remember walker saying at one point long after the leaks that he never had everything. With no evidence, I assume he was numbers and the leaker who was starting to leak on this site before the chairman took over on discord.

from what i remember, dark told me that he heard (from rick, over the phone) 3 songs. one was a piano song that wasnt on the village, one was Zodiac with vocals (apparently they sounded very much like oh my god) and the 3rd was hard school with a different vocal take.
granted this was almost 3-4 years ago and i barely remember what i did last week.

A few theories here. Monsters is a hidden track for the 7in, or was meant as a bside for the Atlas 7inch..
Another theory might be that Elvis Presley and the monsters of soul was always the general + monsters. Working titles maybe. Apparently Elvis's Manager Tom Parker was nicknamed The Colonel.
