I think CD IS a very good álbum. The problem was the delays, people waiting for AFD II etc.
If It would be released under Axl Rose brand and not GNR reviews would be better for sure.
Leftovers? I dont believe in them. There was a plan for three albums. Seven, the general, and many others must be good songs... Not new november rains or WTTJ, but good songs.
I'd like they release an album with the best off that era with Slash and Duff contributions and after that NEW MUSIC composed by them tohether.
I have no doubts about Slash, Duff, Axl capacity of making great songs tohether.

No they wouldn't put it out without his permission and besides...they won't ever release that song.
If a lightning bolt from beyond strikes and they decide to release a song with Duff on lead vocals, it won't be a Stinson song. The band would probably just whip up a song from scratch.
Let's be honest...neither of those two scenarios will happen.
If you're lucky, the song will get released years from now on some sort of Chinese box set.
What a shame! For me It has a great potential

Tommy got the rights back for both his songs a while ago...
Then it's not available for Axl to release it at least he does a cover i guess

It’s not Tommy’s song no more, gnr recorded a version with the band. It’s now Axls property

In jarmos defense, I don’t know how much pull he had to have done that. I’ve heard he’s a pretty nice guy irl
I'm sure he had restrictions but i know how he treated me that moment.
As some one said i probably shouldn't asked for vip pass but in that moment i didn't think that my posts could make a person act basing his behaviour in them. Probably i was a bit fool or ingenous at the moment.
If i was been told 'not possible due to this or that' i would had understood. But i realised by his comments and his face It was something personal.
Anyway it's ok. If i find Jarmo i would say hello and be polited.
