I'm not sure and haven't listened to the bbf version in a few years (I think), but are these new Axl vocals?
the vocals and drums are exactly those on the BBF version.
I also tried listening to the 2010 cellphone recording and I think I can hear more guitars there already, similar to the 2021 release - the prominent guitar riff seems to already be there, just obviously not THAT prominent as on Absurd.
bass also is new and more distinct.

btw, great to be back here. I ragequit quite a long time ago, because this place got infested by mentally ill persons, spamming every topic with stuff they made up in their heads, and nobody threw them out.
it feels good now again, againthe small place with laid back mood and no idiots.

this performance is just killer and yeah, Bumble is absolutely shining on this. one of the best NewGNR performances ever
(and as a very very rare thing, Axl's vocals also rip through mightily, one of the very few occasions after 93 when the rasp got fully used)

Does anybody else think D Tune has a ton of potential? It may be my favorite of the instrumentals.
the Village disks have a shitload of catchy instrumentals indeed, only waiting for lyrics/vocals and ready to go.
the first 4 tracks at RM4 are a brutally good combo for example.

while I've always considered him a douche and this doesn't change anything on that, I REALLY appreciate how honest he is, without any shady half-assed bable he just goes dead straight to the point. I can't say a thing against that and this open talk quite made me like the guy.

Out of curiosity, how many posters that think this is a big deal are teenagers or in their 20s? I refuse to believe posters who went through the CD era are this gullible.

Over a year ago....too funny! Not one new note in the 3 and a half years since Coachella.
nah. I'm sure they've been working hard on replacing May's solo in Atlas.
