but u can listen to Jungle,Nightrain,Brownstone,SCOM,PC,MyMichelle RQ etc etc fucking etc isolated and it all would still kick major ass
when u isolate the CD playing.. its nu metalish/Korn sounding stuff imo
not being a hater or a slashlite.. i love CD, but just my observation from the mogg files

Slash came up with the formula but i think its bullshit if u use that formula to try and show who was more important etc.
If Axl had LA Guns music to sing over.. this forum wouldn't exist i don't give a shit what anybody says.
Ever listened to those Hollywood Rose songs..... no way that makes an impact
music influences lyrics and vocal melodies
its the chicken and the egg scenario but if Slash doesn't come up with the SCOM intro and Axl doesn't hear it.. that song doesn't exist and there is no GNR. cause without that song, one can argue GNR would never have broke huge.
I think Steven is EXTREMELY significant. Steven may be an 80's looking guy and a drug addict but u can't tell me AFD's drumming isn't some of the most melodic/hooked filled drumming of all time. I could give a shit if a guy can double bass at 160bpm while tom rolling/cymbal striking
give me the dude with the groove and one of the greatest air drumming CDs of all time.

u know not to be an asshole but i started a thread when CD came out or a little after saying how i thought the guitar playing sucked on CD. not the solos but just the general riffing etc
these moggs really confirm to me that i was right and i kinda wonder if Axl knew that as well which is why he put so many layers and so much shit to dress up the weakness.

I'm with 'ya on that D. I don't get why Chris put all that avante garde synth stuff in there... it's entirely unnecessary and just convolutes the song.
there is a leak of Better.. not sure which one but u will know the one i am talking about. i think Bucket was on it and it was just so fucking awesome.
the guitar part during the Chorus where Axl is going "u know i know better etc etc
the guitar is just so exaggerated the wah wah wah wa wah wah its just killer
on the CD version that isn't as exaggerated and is toned down
the guitars sound like shit on CD on the bad ass fucking break down, the Beavis and Butthead headbanging moment right before axl starts screaming I never wanted u to be so full of anger parts
on CD with Pitman's mario bros farts, the guitars are so thin toned it sucks.
the demo,that part jumps out and bites ur fucking head off.. on CD its wimpy

James,i think the greatest hits album and its success proves how much the world cares about original GNR. i don't think its relegated to just us on a forum. plus throw in the reality TV element of the will he or won't he and i think its must see TV even if u are not really a fan.
I personally hate Van Halen, wouldn't listen to a CD if u gave me the discography for free but i was damned interested in the whole reunion/HOF thing.

thing is Faldor.. u are so use to CD how it is, u probably wouldn't like my remixes cause they are just different.
I have to leave some snyth in or else the song sounds missing like the intro of TWAT but my versions are basically what it would sound like if it were a stripped down, guitar,bass,drums,vocal only album where possible.
on Better, i am gonna delete Pitman's shit and i do mean shit and turn up the guitars and bass and it will become my fave song again.

yeah but Ozzy and Diamond Dave don't have the volatile relationship that Axl does with the media..t hey will use this to truly pile on him.

it is voted on by the press so Axl def won't win any favorite votes by those holding grudges. They will do it though just to spite Axl cause it then puts him in a very awkward/bad position.
if he doesn't show up .... it will make him look terrible in the eyes of fans and media etc

absolutely Russ.. i have been jamming to TWAT. Ive turned off a lot of the synth stuff and have turned up the bass and it is a much better sounding song to my ears.
