The saddest thing was that he missed that Attitude era window. There's no telling what great matches/angles we missed out on sad

And I believe that he was going to come back during that period when he was a member of The Corporation but his drug habit (he showed up stoned out of his mind to a meeting) got him kicked out of the WWE.

Eh, maybe. HBK/Austin faced off several times. There was one on Austin's retrospective DVD that was pretty good, but I can't remember what event it was. It was 1997 I want to say. That WM-XIV match was also memorable, as it was during the DX/Austin feud.

HBK came back in the early 2000's and faced off against guys like Hogan, HHH, Flair, and numerous memorable Raw matches, despite his increasing age. There were times I thought he was a better seller during his return, than during his prime.

And of course that HBK/Hart & HBK/Taker matches in the 90's were legendary.

I would say the only ticket that was missed out on was HBK/Rock. In their prime, type of card. Rock was still being grown when HBK was on the way out, and then when HBK returned, Rock had already had his prime and left for Hollywood, and still hasn't returned. Rock's been out of the ring for so long at this point, that I question how much ability is left in him. He's still in great shape, so maybe.

A few years ago, both HBK & Rock were approached for a big WM legends match. Both balked for the same reasons. Neither really saw the point or reason as to why HBK and Rock would face off, and it never happened.

I always felt they could've played off of the "Most Electrifying Man in Sports Entertainment", "The People's Champ" vs. "The Showstoppa" "The Main Event"

my translation

neither wanted to job to the other

I am so pumped for this album

i know people didn't like Relapse but 3am is still one of the most brilliant songs of the genre.

He wasn't a dwarf.. he had a kidney disorder and it stunted his growth.

Always drives me nuts when journalistic cocksuckers have to throw in his "legal" troubles

who gives a shit, man was fighting for his life, i don't want to read how he had a domestic violence charge and all other sorts of shit.

He was one of my favorites growing up and this really sucks.

RIP

Bret Micheals better get his ass in gear and recover and stop milking it for a comeback. cause he isn't outta the woods.

Im goin to give those Soundgarden albums another listen u sent. Isn't it weird that it took Cornell singing on Slash's album to finally make me fall in love with his voice?

now i want to hear more

its bizarre, and the weird thing is, albums i love right off i usually get sick of very quickly and never listen to again after a couple months whereas take Contraband, it took me seeing them live to truly love that album and ive listened to it for the past 5-6 years straight.

Bon Jovi's new album i hated first few listens, now i am convinced its their best album of the 21st century.
Prince's latest album i loved instantly, thought the 2nd disc was comparable with Sign O The Times.. listened for about 3 weeks and haven't touched it since.
Kiss' new album same way. love it immediately.. after a month or so..no desire to lisen anymore.

its like first couple of listens, things seem blurred together and the more i listen the more i pick up this or that and then it just clicks and hits me and i then can't stop listening.

With Slash's album, first couple of listens, i liked half of it.. now i listen to every song straight through in order and can't get enough of it.

I joined a band a couple of years ago that was totally not my style and it was the best thing i could've done.

i got into a rut of slow acoustic love song type crap and started losing my chops big time

being in this band which was like a speed/metal/thrash/punk type thing opened up a new avenue for my playing and songwriting. practicing this stuff for 5 months also took my chops to places i never thought possible and my speed and phrasing improved leaps and bounds a long with my creativity.

just graduated college so for the past year ive not devoted the time to it like i normally did, but im gonna try to squeeze at least an hour a day into practicing and writing again.

i want to finish at least one full length cd before i die.

def gonna take me a few listens to "Get IT"

first listen i absolutely hated it but with me that is usually a good thing as i normally hate most of my favorite albums of all time on first couple listens.
