It's obviously some sort of effect added to Fogerty's vocals....not an actual AI. It does show the potential though.

I know a CCR song a young Axl would've kicked ass on.....

Hey Tonight

Or how about....

Fortunate Son

Someone hurry up and put him on Contraband and we can all be happy.

Indeed.

Your post reminded me of something. Don't remember if I mentioned it here recently or it was a convo with my uncle....

For decades..... literally going back to junior high... everyone who knows me...from friends, family, flings, drug dealers, and all points in between....

When they'd see me...there's always a mention of GNR. Always.

Not anymore. I'm not even exactly sure when it stopped...but it did and I doubt they ever get mentioned again.

I can't remember the last time this band did anything good?

* Raises hand*

The only good thing they've done since I was in my youth is the Ritz video....and they buried the goddamn thing on an overpriced box set.

An A list manager like Azoff would've turned that into a monumental release.... theaters, Blu Ray-4k, and a deal with a streaming platform.

It would've also got an audio release simultaneously.

The rollout of that really highlighted how fucked up the current situation really is.

That was a release 30 years in the making....reduced to a popcorn fart.

Any chance MTV owns the rights on that video?

Can’t make this stuff up: Duff’s wife just said on their SXM show they are going to be playing Anything Goes on the upcoming tour.

According to Sweersa at Mygnr, you have Soul Monster and probably the rest of CD2, so it's easy for you to tell others to stop wasting their time following the band, as it obviously has nothing more to offer you. The rest of us aren't so fortunate.

Is that aimed at me or Brodie 2? I certainly don't have those things. Wish I did

Brodie. Sweersa said he was an executive who had CD 2 tracks, specifically Soul Monster but probably more.

Lol if true what a loser hanging out on the forums using it as a place to shit on the band that probably cost him a bunch of money.

Don’t believe it though.

Thanks for this. I actually love Frank’s fill before the last chorus…not that Josh couldn’t have done that.

You joke but literally one of the synths is for “sub-bass.” Gotta love the sub-bass.

He doesn’t play “the” solo on Shackler’s. Like the only one that’s an actual solo with no vocals. He’s probably the outro.

Apart from TWAT and IRS what did BH really contribute to CD? CD (song), Catcher and Scraped is actually Bumblefoot on the solos. Better is Robin (the good one). TIL is Robin. Madagascar was good in RIO but it does not catch your breath on the album.

Shackler is bad, If the World and Sorry are good but not because of any amazing guitar work.

I've gone from thinking BH was indispensable to sort of not caring. He contributed a handful of bits, he wasn't exactly dominant like Slash. His potential in the band was never fulfilled.

Shackler’s was Bumble on the album. Riad also initially had a Bucket solo. I see your larger point though.

Tommy recently appeared on a podcast called Lifers, hosted by Scott Lucas of Local H.

Touches on GnR a couple of times. Mentions he recently got a text from Duff and Richard. Mentions how he thought it was pretty punk of Axl to keep GnR going without Slash. Funny comment about how in his time in GnR he worked with players “across the spectrum…and probably on the spectrum.” First thought it might be about Axl then immediately realized it has to be bucket.

Absolutely nothing earth shattering. Doesn’t get into Chinese recording.

If you don’t believe the songs exist how do you explain The General clip? Are we to believe Axl was in charge of the CD player?
