Is It possible that the music on that promotional video IS from the general?
Parts of it maybe, at least we will know soon. I'm looking foreword to ripping The General apart with stem splitters and messing around with it.

They stuck a video up on youtube promoting Powertrip. The audio is close to the video they did promoting Glastonbury. At the time they put that one up I asked the company that made it where the audio came from and they told me it was made from "Elements of GNR music".
Parts of it I could make out, like CD drums buried way down in the mix but most of it was evil sounding strings stuff that sounded like it had been heavily manipulated. I kind of wondered at the time if maybe some of it might be from unreleased stuff. Given most of it was unrecognizable it seemed likely.
57 sec into this one right at the end before it cuts off if you listen through earphone's it sounds (to my ears at least) like it is just starting to go into the same evil strings sounding part. The note it ends on seems the same as the first note from the low cello sounding shit from the 2006 tour intro.
Probably just hearing things.

The Perhaps video is about a 100k views away from overtaking Hardskool which was posted 2 years ago. That's not bad going in a short space of time. It's hard to say if that's down to people prefering the song or the fact it has a proper video, likely both.
Can't see a B-side having a video but if there is any truth to the Atlas thing then they would be stupid not to have a video for that.

Perhaps 7" has been restocked. That implies to me that the first run has been pressed so they can take these orders for the second.
27 days untill the first batch is shipped. Kind of intrigued to see if they can pull off a song release without a leak. It's the final stretch

At this point I doubt an earlier version will leak, an early leak of the version we are getting will probably happen in the next 4 weeks.
If the 7" is despatched in 4 weeks then they are probably being pressed now. All it takes is for one of those to fall off the back of a truck and be ripped and uploaded.
