I agreed to go there immediately and listen to a bunch of stuff. What I heard was – I don’t know how to say this without be insulting, I don’t want to be insulting because he worked very hard on it – but what I heard was something that he had painted over too many times. So, by the time I heard it, the original content was lost and it was just a highly produced piece of something…

That's CD in a nutshell.

Yea I was listening to the title track the other day, and i think its is a fantastic song.    But if you listen to the versions from Rio 2001 or the 2002 tour, its much more stripped down and doesn't have all that noodling from BBF n shit.

A lot of that stuff was just overly fucked with and had layers on top of layers that were not really needed.

I don't think any CD songs will be performed. Best case scenario CD II comes out and lets say Atlas Shrugged is a single and becomes a minor hit. They play that.

I understand hardcore fans wanting these various set list scenarios but IMO they aren't realistic. Slash doing TWAT? Axl singing Slither? There'll be one of us nerds at each show wanting that and its the same as a handful wanting SG to perform Cochise.

I think a CD track or two is possible.

Duff played some of the songs on the last tour.

Could be cool.   Particularly the title track, the blues, or catcher.

But I just met it, and I don't swing that way

The Trump circus and the fact that he is doing so well in the polls makes me ashamed of my country.

Love this song.    Wish it had a proper release somewhere other than some obscure soundtrack.

I'm not sure this means anything other than Axl, Slash, and Duff like to make money 16

I always used the awesomeness of STP's lyrics and melodies as an example of one of the positive effects of drug use.

But then there is that other side..  And we don't even know yet if it was drug related.    But Scott was battling those demons for most of his adult life.

This is a really sad loss.   Too young.   So talented.

STP was one of the better bands to come out of that era of the 90s.

Robin coming back would be awesome.    He brought such a unique sound to the band.

If a reunion is coming in the next 2 years, he ain't coming back.

If it doesn't happen, and NIN stays on hiatus**, its not too far fetched to think Robin could rejoin at that point.    He only left because nothing was going on in GnR world and Trent had a job for him.     Can't think of anyone who would fill that role better than Robin.    Much better than DJ or Ron, anyhow.

All signs do however, point to at least Slash and Duff returning to the group.    Things in GnR land are fluid, and subject to change.

**When I saw NIN last year with Soundgarden, Trent announced that this would be this would be 'the last tour for a long time'
