Re: GN'R Are Now Selling Classic-Lineup Merch, It's Actually a Pretty Big

"In the midst of heavy speculations about the return of classic Guns N' Roses lineup, the band has offered a new line of merchandise, featuring none-other than members and marks of that very same classic lineup.

What makes this a big deal, apart from that sexy GN'R beanie to help you woo the ladies, is the fact that the band's classic trademarks are jointly owned by Axl Rose, Slash, and Duff McKagan.

Back in 2006, Slash tried to trademark the old GN'R logos (here's proof, here's another one), and ultimately, the trademarks were abandoned in March 2007.

This leads to a conclusion that the boys might have made some sort of agreement, and with all the other stuff that's circulating the web, strongly hints that classic Guns N' Roses are set to return.

You can check out the new merch batch here.

In recent news, Slash confirmed that his schedule has been cleared for the exact period when the reunion tour is rumored to take place.

According to previous reports, the band is gearing up for a global tour in 2016. They will reportedly first headline several major festivals in Europe and US, only to embark on a full-blown trek to mark the group's 30th anniversary.

There are multiple sources that indicate the boys are indeed back in town, but no official confirmation has yet been released.

Additional report claims that Izzy Stradlin, Steven Adler, or Matt Sorum will not be participating in the reunion. "

They're also having a clearance sale on the rest of their stock. Out with the new, in with the old...

At this point there's no use in any pretending something isn't going on. The only question is what is it and how far does it go. Slots and new merch today, greatest hits and deluxe editions tomorrow?

Not convinced and their sources for certain information recently was coming from MYGNR rumors.

Is this the new store that we're talking about? http://gunsnroses.shop.bravadousa.com/ Yes I see the logo on alot of merchandise, but I also a picture of most recent line-up on the front page too.

Logo news is interesting though. Read those papers signed by Perla, wow can't believed they even attempted that. Imagine if today Perla won and owned the Appetite for Destruction logo post divorce?

This I can vaguely see why. http://tsdr.uspto.gov/documentviewer?ca … x=5&page=1

This one is just crazy. http://tsdr.uspto.gov/documentviewer?ca … x=5&page=1

GNR has a horrific track record on updating official sites. Its a miracle this is even happening.  99.9% of that merch revolves around the old band. Other than the CD bandana, its either AFD-UYI related or a pic of modern day Axl.

ALL the new merch is classic era. Bring back the Lies shirt please.

Atari...give them time to remove that pic. It only took 4 years to remove 2002 tour dates.

I see some people on other sites mentioning not getting the items they purchase. Are they merely trolling?

The logo on this key chain is terrible.

Another terrible logo..

Who's creating this stuff?

There's a grand total of 4 reviews on all these products. No one is buying that stuff. Even without a reunion I can see why the focus is veering towards the classic era.

Damn no Izzy. Totally understandible given his low key persona but still a bummer!

Sad Adler isn't apparently involved... have to assume that unlike Izzy he wanted in sad. Of course these are still rumors so we'll see!
