Got the album yesterday and I really like it. Nice mix of heavy heavy rock with some softer moments.
Baz is definitely sounding as good on here as he did back in the Skid Row days.

My only complaints are that Our Love Is A Lie is almost Love Is A Bitchslap slowed down, the riffing sounds really similar.
And the other complaint is that the solos are pretty crap! I'm surprised that for all the great riffing, the solos are terrible. They could've taken the songs that much further, but they don't add much at all. It's either mindless noodling or simple two-note, no-emotion soloing (on the ballads).

My favourite tracks are Angel Down, You Don't Understand, Back in the Saddle, Stuck Inside, American Metalhead, By Your Side, Negative Light and Falling Into You.

Hope it comes out tuesday here in oz too. I might go start asking at my local store.

I found out that it comes out here in Australia on the 24th. I've already got one set aside for me when it comes in at my local music store.

The Slash ones look great aside from the guitars. They can't seem to get the shape right...

Sometimes with women you have to strike while they are all into you.  It's true although some will wait and wait and wait, it really depends on the situation.

It's too bad that now you are tortured at work, I guess do your best to try to move on.   Definitely take the high road and show her you are not sad over this just accept it and move on and it seems as if you are.

I remember when I wasn't sure if I wanted to date this guy at work and we dated and I was sorta into him not like hot bothered, couldn't wait to kiss him, cotton mouth all nervous into him but into him.  We went out on a date and it was okay we had that fun flirty thing too but we talked and talked and talked for hours.

Anyway, I was thinking on how he wasn't my type at all, I like the big muscular types...he was "the nice guy" that I normally didn't go for and not my body type.  So I told him that I didn't want to have a relationship because we worked together.  He didn't bat an eye, he was like, okay and moved on.   I have to say, that made me like hmmm, he didn't even care and because we women are sooo messed up in that area and that gets our attention, I changed my mind after a few weeks and now I am married to him....LOL

That's hilarious DTJ 16

And from that story, it looks like there might be hope for me yet - I'm that same 'nice guy' that she works with... hahahaha

Thanks everyone for the feedback.

My logical mind says to me "fuck it, why am I letting this get to me!" while my heart says "man, WHY isn't she interested??? she's so beautiful!"
And it's just a constant battle between the two at the moment, but I know it will get easier with time.

But one thing, I am glad I had the guts to actually tell her how I felt, even if it didn't go my way.

Just some random wanky rock poses whilst jamming on my guitar and annoying my neighbours! 16 9

Brilliant Disquise- Bruce Springsteen

#4070 Re: The Sunset Strip » Megadeth » 930 weeks ago

I really like Megadeth, but man, Dave needs to give up his whole thing with Metallica. Give it up already, it was 25 years ago that he was kicked out of the band!!! 16

As for favourite album, I'd probably go with Youthanasia too. Has the right amount of old school feel, with 90's modern crunch. And I don't think there's a weak song on there either.

I haven't really given the recent albums much of a listen, aside from hearing the pointlessly re-recorded A Toute Le Monde. But how do they compare with the old stuff?
