Well, I agree, but I think monkey was trying to illustrate Adler's POV.
The sad part is, had Adler gotten it together in the 90's, he could be a respectable working musician by now.
Imagine had he been in VR.

I doubt Izzy would do full shows (or a tour).
Having said that, he lights up the stage whenever he shows up.
So, yes. I'd love to see him with Guns any given day, any given lineup.

If you look at it from Steven's perspective, it's probably hard to take. It's a guy who ... chose the replacement over him when it was time to try fame without Axl in Velvet Revolver.
That's a good point.
It made sense to everyone else back in the day why Matt should be in VR, as it was a continuation of the UYI lineup and Matt was, well, more dependable. For Adler, it must've been just another blow, another enabling incident.

Ashba was asked how difficult it was dealing with Axl on a scale of 1 to "Kanye West," with "Kanye" signifying the most difficult a person can be.
"He's always treated me like gold. So, as far as what I can say, I have not a bad word to say. Although I do know if you cross him, he can turn more into the Kanye side of things."
"It got difficult here and there. I mean, he's definitely a unique character."
So, while DJ has "not a bad word to say", he goes on to say Axl can get difficult - and did, even with him, the golden boy.

Do you think out of respect for this semi reunion Chris should refrain being the center of attention with silly tweets or Facebook posts?
The management wants him to do so out of respect for ticket sales.
Returning employees from '96 is closer to reality but waxes a bit less nostalgic.
And the world is a shallow place if a few silly posts in the social media take anything away from Axl/Slash, together again.

SG, I think I can simplify it even better. You began having a problem with Chris when this "reunion" news broke out. He doesn't fit the bill for you, and you're not alone.... And unfortunately for him, he keeps making your case stronger when he opens his mouth.
Yeah, it's about Adler and the unfairness of it all, right?
Adler would love to be involved full-time. At this point, that's unlikely.
Meanwhile, Pitman's still in the running and he's the keyboardist #2.
Funny enough, much like Adler, his comments attract controversy.
Imagine that. Slash and Axl on stage after all these years and all we can talk about it is... Pitman.

Izzy + Steven should start their own version of GNR and tour
With JT Longoria on bass and Rick Richards on rhythm guitar?
I like the idea, they could do a club tour with Slash's band.
Imagine the three of them doing some UYI deep cuts (Dust N' Bones, Double Talkin' Jive, etc.).

Apex, you really think Axl had Chris tweet those things because he didn't like how the promotion was going? Oh my heavens.... Why not have Fortus and Dizzy tweet the same? Wow.
I would say it's a fair possibility, yes.
Will you stop attacking Chris and everyone else already? This is getting tiresome.
Whatever point you've set out to make, I'm sure you've voiced out by now.
