Slash needs to return to his roots, and they need to drop Matt Sorum.
I found this funny. Slash return to his roots? He's been playing the same thing for 20 years! Matt definitely needs to go, you're absolutely correct there. In fact, I wouldn't mind if I never hear or see anything from him again.

"One" is overrated. There are probably 6 or 7 other Metallica songs longer than 7 minutes better than that.

One of Bucket's best performances ever was at Bonnarroo with Praxis in 2004. It's a CD now. Mind-blowing, jaw-dropping, awe-inspiring.

I'm curious why you think that since they haven't done a great album since 1991? And if you mean the VR crew, when did they cut a "great" album in the first place?

VR is over, and it was a failure from the start. Weiland wasn't the right guy. I've never been a big fan of his, and he did nothing to change my mind. Actually, I dislike him even more now because of his involvement with 2 of the biggest musical letdowns I've ever set my ears on. Damn Yankees was a better supergroup.
I saw they should all go solo and try not to count on duplicating any past success they've had. It ain't gonna happen.
