Holy shit...you can buy 50 tickets to this show in one shot!

This could be downsized to a club show.

A spoiled fan base, the economy, YouTube... anything but themselves.

I doubt the empty venues are even acknowledged by them. They've already been paid, Live Nation will eat any losses, and like I mentioned earlier...I think they're going on hiatus after this.

I'd love to be a fly on the wall when these people and their minions who can't manage a lemonade stand are trying to brainstorm tour ideas.

They lucked into doing this in the era of the stadium legacy acts. Had they handled the reunion like this 15-20 years ago, it would've already crashed and burned.

They're lucky it went any further than 2018.

Remove the pandemic, and what we are about to witness on this tour leg would've happened in 2020-21.

All entertainment (music, movies) saw a post pandemic boost.

Go outside my man

Actually...I was outside when I made that post. It was my last day house-sitting for friends up near Sonora. Was outside a lot up here. I actually found the exact spot my dad and uncle Charlie used to poach salmon in the 1980s... Charlie would stand on the bridge with his rifle, shoot them, and my dad would swim out there to get them.

An out of this world fish fry would soon follow.

I even tried finding where I carved my initials on the bridge several times back in the day.....but no luck there.

You can see why....

That was one creepy place back in the day... especially at night. Just imagine the shit that went down there. I suppose the area earned its nickname "murderers gulch".

I'm home now...inside... reading my post again...and there's not a goddamn word I'd change in that post.

That's one cool bridge.

Is the road abandoned or something?

Sonora, California?

I’ve always had this sound in my head that the general would have a heel clicking marching noise in the intro.

Also the intro would be heavy.

Is there a download of Glastonbury, as nothing but Paradise City is on YouTube.

Well some people age well and some don't.

Obviously Senator Feinstein, has not aged well.

Kissinger say what you will about his politics, is still kicking it.

I'm not a fan of ageism.

At the end of the day, the American people need to stop being such easy marks.

I used to love this band.

Now I just don't give a fuck.

Maybe that is what happens at 38.

It's just a big disappointment.

Happy for him, more people should be exposed to how good he is. They have all been listening to him for years anyway on all mannor of shit without even knowing.

Wonder if they asked Axl's opinion on the guy at all

Exactly. He is such a good choice. Has had a low profile, even though as you said he's drummed on everything.

Dude can also produce, and is a multi-instrumentalist.

Yeah, it seems like he's the safe choice for them, but I wish they'd gone with Rufus Taylor; he really feels like the spiritual successor to Taylor Hawkins.

I'll disagree.

Taylor loved Queen, but Rufus ain't Roger. I don't really like nepo babies.

Freese is well known for his studio work, and I don't think he's that well known like who they could have gone with.

What I like about Josh, is he was a good friend of Taylor. He did those Wembley and LA shows with Taylor's setup to channel his energy.

And dude really is one of the best drummers in the world.

I'm glad they picked him.

You get a guy who is extremely talented, can write songs, and lyrics, and happens to be a damn good drummer.

I think to no one's surprise Josh Freese aka one of the best session and live drummers got the Foo Fighters gig.

Happy to see it.

Hope he's a permanent member too.

The game is money.

America hasn’t cared about America for a long time.

Companies don’t make (yeah I know some still do) stuff in America anymore.

It’s outsource, pay slave wages, fuck the poor. And repeat. Companies don’t pay taxes, and get tax incentives if they do build here.

The fat cats hide their cash and bet against America.

A trade war with China couldn’t be won. Because of over reliance on trade.

If America first actually existed the right and left would tax the fuck out of companies and individuals that move shop. They don’t.

So many industries have left and it’s pathetic.

You can make a damn good profit and bet on America / the West, but greed gets in the way.

That’s why I just don’t buy any war machine bullshit or banning tik tok bullshit either. It’s like you know we still do business with these cunts.
