Randall, Bill O'Reilly was saying that last night....he said if it comes down to the convention and Obama is slightly ahead in delegates but not holding enough, the "super delegates" or whatever could step in and put Hillary as the nominee. There is the potential for some real corrupt stuff....damaging stuff to the Democratic party if they can't get this sorted out.

and to take it further, when Mysteron said "the ball is in the label's court", that does NOT mean they necessarily have the album. That most likely means Axl made a business offer, and they are waiting on a counter offer from the label.

Personally, whether or not the label had the album was never my major concern. First things first, I wanted the Chinese Democracy sessions shut down. Sift through all the material, decide what you want to release, complete those tracks, mix, and master. Now, it does make sense that after all this time and money spent by both parties, if you have a lot of finished music, you don't just turn it all over to the label and say "do what you want"......any normal person would look to cut the best deal possible right now while maintaining some form of artistic control over how the music is released. So, good business sense will tell you Axl isn't going to relinquish the masters until his business issues are sorted out with the label.

Two different issues when you say "the record is done or recording is done" vs. "we gave the album to the label." Nobody in the band's camp has said we turned the album in to the label. They just said the recording is done and the album is done-"everybody knows that!"  Even if the record company listens to the proposed album or albums and says "we agree with your tracklisting and ideas 100%", it doesn't mean they will agree to release the record/s on Axl's financial terms. Make sense?:ummm:

that is all I needed to read, radio...blabbermouth....recent reports (meaning eddie trunk and other shit we already know)....nothing new here. No sources on those recent reports. Sounds like they just decided to make something up that sounded good. We have no clue what they are negotiating over or if Axl is asking for more money.:sick:
