Neemo, I don't know why I am posting this, but Axl never said the songs he was playing would not be on the album. He only said they were not being considered for singles-not b sides, not a sides, just other songs on the album that were not being considered for singles-that is a fact from London 02. People get so confused.

James, that is possibly part of the album....but remember, Beltrami worked on the General, Seven, Thyme, and Leave It Alone in 2002 plus you had Oklahoma mentioned in 2000 by RS and This I Love.

Another point I haven't seen made is Zutuat paraphrasing Axl saying "nobody speaks my language". In other words, he wasn't all that happy with all the material. However, it is hard for anyone to speak your language when the band is working in the studio and you are off sequested away in your mansion. You can't hear what is going on in real time so that you can immediately nix certain ideas and can only work on the stuff you hear that is interesting. No great rock artist EVER worked like that. Imagine all the cool stuff these guys came up with that Axl just didn't think would make a good Gnr record. Nuts.

Does anyone know where I can find the Classic rock review of the 11 song cd they allegedly have? Not when they made it album of the year, but when we first found out they had all the leaked tracks.

His relationship with Beta is not a problem to me because I truly think Axl sees her as the mother figure he always wanted and atleast she has him "looking" for positive energy. The yoda stuff is too much though. Beta also makes it very clear that Axl takes this record very seriously. My point is, when we get this thing, you know it will be the best that he could have done.:thumbup:

In the end, all this story does is confirm some things in the NYT article and the long Rolling Stone piece "Lost Rose" or whatever it was called. We also need to remember that the storyline stops in 2002...we really have little clue as to what has been accomplished in relation to songs since then.:thumbup:
