Wasnt Axl better than everyone else before he got his big break? Mabye even better than the untapped talent in Buzz's local boozer? This was the guy who Slash regarded as the "best singer in Hollywood" before a record was sold.

Funny I dont remember anyone saying when these promos came out in 2010 that it was all part of some convoluted and diabolical masterplan to fool the public the original members of GN'R had secretly reformed
I ain't all wound up about it, it was just something I noticed. Axl is quite clear in the footage shown, the other members are not, aside from that shot of DJ towards the end.
It's called observation mate.
As for the video above, there are plenty of CLEAR shots of the band. If they kept it like that I wouldn't have said anything.

What is it with the internet that its so easy to focus on the negative - its not just here, its everywhere. On facebook folk I know who are really quite cheerfull, all their fuckin updates are complaining about some useless shite or other.
I guess when it comes right down to it, everyone just loves having a right good fucking moan...

apparently del booked the tour based on spite towards posters on certain msg boards, so you never know..

Actually, during the euro tour I was looking at a lot of different shows in different countries, thinking of travelling. I did notice that it was very rare that they played any Friday or Saturday nights, the vast majority were week nights and most weekend gigs were on Sundays.
Rather than the venues denying them those slots, I'd be more convinced that its down to GN'R leaving everything to the last minute that they miss out.

I wish I could sing, I'd sing wherever I went, but unfortunately since I havnt remotely held a tune since my voice broke at 12 year old, I have to make do with miming into the hairbrush.

All singers know that to be able to deliver like Axl did back in the day for two years of touring is a frickin' miracle.
He should be a mute at this stage!!
He has nights where he's on top form and nights where he's not, I think thats perfectly understandable, he's a human fucking being.
I thought he sounded killer for much of the 06 tour, but theres just as much footage out there of nights where he didnt. Thankfully the show I was at he was out of this world, what a performance

The problem with TWAT is there is no pauses between sentences in the verses. Axl even spoke about this during the Eddie Trunk interview on the subject of pro tools, he said something along the lines of, pro tools is handy for altering the speed of the delivery of the vocals, that you can put lines together so that it sounds like your singing faster.
Axl would never be able to pull TWAT off "back in the day", check out the ending to the live versions of Coma - once the pace in the vocals picks up he starts to struggle cause theres no pauses to breathe.
