Buick Makane gets very little respect. I don't know why. Sure, that Big Dumb Sex outro sucks big time, but the rest of the track is great.

Yeah its an awesome track!! At least 3/4 of the whole album is fantastic to me. I really can't understand why  most people don't dig it. Plus it sounds soooo good production wise!!

Exactly...why does Jarmo think that a like of slash or VR somehow means you have a problem with Axl or GNR. Many of us like both. And if anything I feel like his attiude does Axl and the new band more harm than  good in terms of the rep it earns the band online and with fans.

Poor steven. That really sucks. Hope he gets better.

Personally I love TSI.

I know its not as cool as originals would have been....

But it captures that real rock that GNR was about I think....I love to play "Hair of the Dog" on like 10 and listen to Axl....and "Aint it Fun" is awesome...and listen to Slash's attack on "Black Leather" to the main riff....and and "Down on the Farm" is just cool....

I gotta say 14 years on I prob enjoy this album more than i ever did when it came out, and in some ways I like it more than a lot of songs. Like I'd rather hear Hair of the Dog than say "live and let die"...

Maybe its only me though...but when i hear this album i think of a hot sweaty club...and axl and slash getting up on stage fucked up in the middle of the night and just jamming their favourite songs. Its old school rock.

I know thats NOT how it was recorded at all...like it was on studios during the tours and stuff...but its got that feel to me as if its real like that...

The only thing i don't like about this is the "just for 10 shows to huge crowds" cos that means i almost certainly won't get to go if it happens.

I say make a new album....then they dont even have to hang together LOL.....

But if he was really bald...would he take a roll as a bald guy where it could be discovered like this?

Yeah well it happened again. I've been trying to quit something for a while. Been doin really well for a while now but tonight I did it again and I'm at a lost for words cause I thought I was stronger than this. Anyone ever try and quit something but it just keeps haunting you and keeps coming back into your life? How did you deal?

I think one thing to do is to not let one slip up ruin everything. Like dont let messing up that time (or times) become an excuse to yourself of "now i'm fucked again". In the end of the day you are stronger than it...so just forget a mistake and remember what it is you want to do..which is stay clean...

Easier said than done i know - but its doable smile

What's scary here is why do they have no empathy for the girl? And why has their developing sexuality turned so violent... troubling questions.

Theres 2 reasons I lost interest in HTGTH:

1. The censorship there has caused it to lose relevance. Compare the difference when the Maddy leak happened...ROV sent fans an email about it, and had a prominant discussion about the song and why it leaked., HTGTH spent several hours/days pretending it wasn't happening, deleting any refrence to it, and the major topic on the board there was something pointless like Axl's sneaker brand or something.

2. I don't think the site is run in a way thats resepctful to all types of fans. GNR has fans that like the old band, fans that like the new band, and fans that like both. Why is that so hard for people to understand. Yet since about mid 2006, it seems that the way to express fandom of the new band is to give as much shit as possible regardless of context to anyone in the old band, or fans of the old band. That this is encouraged or at a minimum sanctioned at the highest levels there really astounds me. And seems to have started circa 2006 for whatever reason - prior to that the site was more balanced in its philosophy.  But each to their own I guess. However I've just found it too insulting on more than one occasion  - so now i come here all the time and only occasionly drop in there.
