Shocking. Didn't even think he was that old.

Some of those 70s albums are absolute classics.

I've always loved that.

I was watching this a few days ago actually, just think that was the most riddoclous opening to a video ever.

The guy's a genius though.

I am a Guns N' Roses fan, but why couldn't I grown up with Bowie instead? I'm literally jealous of those who did.

Dude you've completely missed the mark... YOU HAVE GUNS N' ROSES BECAUSE OF BOWIE!!!

David Bowie influenced every fucking guy in GN'R, especially Axl & Slash & Dizzy, all three are HUGE Bowie marks, and have covered him in GN'R.

I would go so far to say GN'R wouldn't exist without Bowie's influence, and I say that as a guy who wasn't a huge Bowie guy. But even I see the building blocks.

RIP Aladdin Sane/Ziggy Stardust/ Thin White Duke...

I got into Bowie through NIN. I was planning to make some Finck/Bowie art for my blog in the next coming weeks. I suppose I should do it now instead.

Here are some of my favorite songs:

Space Oddity

Lady Grinning Soul

Oh You Pretty Things

Moonage Daydream

Starman

Ashes To Ashes

Rock N' Roll Suicide

And the absolute masterpiece Wild Is The Wind

I remember making some stuff for one of my Finck sites listening to this song over and over:

All The Young Dudes

I will never forget this tribute either.
