I always thought Riad was Oklahoma.

2 very different tracks.

Just 2 kick ass rockers.

Yeah I got that when it became Berlin but for a long time Riad sounded like Oklahoma.

Also Bazs description of The General was something pretty heavy.

Keep in mind the guy also described Sorry as doom metal.

Man... how didn't this stuff get released!?

Axl had a bunch of great material.

I'm floored.

Most of this stuff is A list material and half of CD should have been relegated to his B list.

Maybe not commercial or GNR enough. I mean according to some CD was a flop. And that has potential singles like Better or SOD, TIL. To then put out something harder with similar production, maybe the label weren’t interested. We heard nothing about recomp really pushing for a release. They wanted Slash and would prefer to release AFD again. Really it goes back 1999 as we all know now. It would’ve been a looser project than the real GNR statement we got. CD reps that era well.

I'd agree. Replace Scraped, Shackler's, Sorry and This I Love.

Please PM me everything.

It feels like I’ve been waiting 20 years to hear these CD II songs.

Wait a minute...

You don't have any of the previous leaks?

I get what he was saying. AIC meets Pink Floyd meets Don’t Cry would be easier to understand. It’s kind of a dark, doomy sound.

No none. I haven’t been able to access sites.

But I’ve been posting about these mythical songs for so long I feel like I know what they sound like. Some are new though like Hard School and Perhaps, Dummy? It makes sense these discs exist though. I wonder if like Axl said CD II was finished as a studio version with the remix. And these are like the demo discs. And now Slash etc and re-recording ...

Yea, In hindsight it makes perfect sense.
At the time I was expecting like Fairy and the Devil or a slowed down Brewer in the Air style Buckethead guitar song and some super-raspy Axl vocals.
