I also firmly believe that any hope that GNR are simply waiting for the Best Buy exclusive to be over is completely misplaced. I think no one is driving this thing and we've seen/heard the last.
No matter how much I wish it were different.
I agree with this completely, and have since the holiday season when I knew the album was dead as hell.
Alot this 'hope for this...' / 'hope for that' has got more to do with people that can accept the reality of the situation.
Fans OVERestimated Axl. It's sad he's content with NOT proving us wrong.

I like CD. I do think the leaks completely fucked up my perspective though.
I mean I remember when I first heard the leaks loving them. Problem is, I wore them out so bad, I am just tired of everything before putting the CD in.
Over the last 10 years, I've liked some albums better.

I fuckin' loved the album. Best GN'R album since AFD, i've said that since release, and CD is currently in my Top-5 favorite albums - ever, by any artist.
Sometimes I feel like the fans love the album and the band doesn't.

That is a fact. I wouldn't say I love the album, and actually, after the rant by Axl and I see his douchebagness in all its glory, I like the album less... But fuck, If the World fucking rocks!
