I think they played it a few times, I can't remember. I know it was on the setlist options. I think Eddie played the opening riff to it during the show I was at.

Rock on Wolfgang! This guy is the real deal.  Being part of the VH family, he should of kicked their asses.

Yeah really. I mean what the fuck? I'm one of those "Hey, there's a time and a place for everything" type of dudes when it comes to music so stuff like One Direction doesn't bother me, because it's always going to be around. But who in the fuck are those assholes to be rude to anyone, let alone EVH's kid?

True! They are a bunch of pussies! Plain and simple. Those guys had no right to treat Wolf and the guys with that obnoxious behavior. Looks like that record company money is giving them an ego complex.

No, amazingly it still has never been played live.  Such a good tune.  Can't believe they haven't busted it out.  Fans would go nuts.

Song DLR wrote and recorded with a few close friends of his. Dedicated to the people suffering and recovering from Hurricane Sandy.

Nice find, I love it. Love when Dave gets mellow. Still manages a cool sense of humor while being pretty poignant.

If Diamond Dave wants to release some solo songs for a good cause then he should go for it since it's going to be awhile until VH gets back on the road and does more music. Still itching for a proper release on an album Dave and John 5 worked on a few years before the 2007/2008 VH tour. John 5 said it was recorded in only a couple weeks and it sounded awesome.  Glad you enjoyed it and I agree. I haven't actually listened to that song as of yet. Thanks for the link. Pretty good tune. I own his first solo album and looking to buy a few tracks from other solo Dave albums on the internet soon.

In other VH news:

Also DLR has a vlog kind of show on Youtube dubbed, TheRothShow while the rest of the VH camp is doing other things. Some of the stuff he discusses is quite a listen if you guys are interested.

Re: Van Halen Discussion

Along with the good news of my previous post, I found this very interesting article about the whole Gene situation with Van Halen before they got officially signed back in the late 70s from DLR himself.
