Bernie Sanders is a nice man, but his socialist line of thinking would destroy our economy. I like him as a guy, but all this free free free shit means I have to pay pay pay...

Look at my health bill per month before Obama Care and after FOR THE SAME POLICY.

PRE Obama Care: $181 per month including dental
YEAR 1 Obama Care $265 per month plus $21 per month for dental
Year 2 Obama Care $295 per month plus $21 for dental
Next year $395 per month plus $21 for dental.

I take no drugs and haven't been sick in 5 years. I am young, no married, no kids, and healthy. HOW IS THIS SUSTAINABLE. ALMOST $400 per month. Wtf?!?!

How do you know what your cost increases would have been before Obamacare...you do realize that these increases occur every year the older you get as a function of your age and cost of living adjustments. Does it account for all of your increases? I doubt it.

I'm right there with you though...currently I support a family of 3, the child in the family is not biologically mine (I love her just the same though). Everybody's healthcare jumped this coming year.

Here's the thing guys....slightly over half the federal budget goes to the Military. If we continue to spend that much money on our military, we just don't get to have much left over for what Republicans like to call, "entitlements" or anything else. Ironically, I find Republicans to be the most entitled of all in general....but I digress.

The problem with the Republican field is I cannot stand how ass backwards they are on all of the social issues. None of these people would I enjoy spending time with and I tend to avoid the ultra-religious on a daily basis. Scott Walker was the absolute worst. Donald Trump, Marco Rubio, Ben Carson, etc....they are all complete turds. At least, they way that they are portrayed publically.

I just don't see one thing that Republicans believe in that would help me financially, or align with my morals. I've seen the results of Republican economic policies by Governors in places like Wisconsin and Kansas where they have control of all branches of government. The results are disastrous. I believe I read somewhere that Kansas had to close their public schools early last summer due to budget issues. I would need to confirm that, but I am confident it's true.

I remember reading in college that when the French revolution occurred, one of the biggest reasons for it was that 97% of the wealth was controlled by 1% of the population. The wealth distribution is something like 80% of the wealth goes to the top to 1-2 percent of the population.

Let's take Trump for example...didn't he inherit most of his wealth? What has he done to contribute to anything? He's declared bankruptcy multiple times most likely as a way to avoid taxes. I want to know what about that decision qualifies him to lead anything.

You can't have a discussion on qualifications if you support Obama.  He had zero qualifications, yet he was elected twice.  Discussion over.

I am an independent.  What I mean by that is I am not affiliated with either party.  I am a fiscal conservative and a social liberal.  I am essentially the poster child for the middle class.  I don't rely on gov't handouts to survive, nor do I like the gov't telling people how to live their lives.  I am all for supporting those that really need help to get by; I am not for supporting those that are too lazy to work or unwilling to take a job that they feel is below them so they sit at home and collect from those of us that work hard and pay our taxes.  I am not for supporting those that made poor life decisions and never made an effort to save any of the money they were making and blew it all on shit they didn't need like the biggest house or the nicest car.

We do so many things ass backwards.  We help other countries before helping our own.  We pass laws that we have no idea what they actually state because our party told us to.  We vote for or against things based on race, religion, politics, etc when none of those things should play a role in the decision making process.  The whole system is broken.  It's all about money and power and nobody cares about me any more than they care about any one of you.  It's all about power and money no matter how much they try to fool you into thinking they care about you.

Thanks to whoever got me started on the gov't...

The democrats have created a whole society that relies on hand outs and that locks up votes for generations.  Generations of people that want free stuff.  Free food, free housing, free college, free cell phones, free health care.  Who pays for all that free shit? Only 47% of the USA pays taxes.  Let that sink in.  ONLY 47%.  Now, the other 53% do pay sales tax and also property tax if they own anything.  But no income tax.  I am in that 47% and sick of paying more and more.

And yes, I know health care can go up, but not at these rates of increase.  Pre Obama care I pay the same rate for 4 years straight.  Post Obama shit is going up big time EACH YEAR.  I soon wont be able to afford this kind of health insurance and will have to get a policy that has a $7,000 deductible.  So unless I get hit by a train the shit is worthless.

So basically, the heart felt feeling of "let them all in, lets take care of them, these are sweet women and children" is probably not a very good idea.  You are clashing cultures with people that for the most part have no desire to blend in with the others.  Sweden will be majority Muslim in 15 years.  I don't think that was the goal of helping the migrants... We need to find a better solution so they can stay in their home country.  It is so damn complex a solution is almost impossible and will certainly hurt some feelings.

The problem is the left want immigration for votes, the right want it for cheap labor. And a trillion dollar western war machine has all the motivation it needs to keep creating refugees. Money and power rule this issue. The people are mere bystanders, it doesn't take a genius to figure it won't be very good for them. Most people know it won't be good for them. That's why you don't see many argue immigration is beneficial.

So basically our best bet is things get so bad we throw our lot behind some dictator and cross our fingers real good he knows what he's doing. Not sure I want to live to see it.
