These are some of my picks but there are many good games including the available-at-launch, Resistance: Fall of Man. That's a great first person shooter mixed with some other classic gameplay elements.

My bad, that isnt the US price, thats the European price. I dont feel like doing the conversions though, so I'm sure you guys can figure it out.

A brand new 40GB PS3 is only 399.00, I'd go that way and pick up Motorstorm used off of ebay for 25 bucks. You have the bundle for less than 450.00 shipped. If you prefer a Motorstorm bundle with an 80gb hard drive you can get it new for just under 500.00.

Anyone who doesn't play Madden 08 should be lynched.......
Forza 2 on 360 > all other games, ever.
Never even heard of it.
I couldnt stand Forza, it was such a hardcore racing sim, that it wasnt any fun. Fun for me atleast, I prefer the arcadey racing games, forza was more like watching a nascar race.
Heres an article from a guy who's already played and beaten GTA IV. The article is pretty much spoiler free. He actually does a really good job of not spoiling anything.

Agreed, Madden is a thing of beauty and the best gameplay of any football game to date. Now if only 2K Sports could get their NFL license back!
