Great stuff guys.
I think if the old line up were to re-unite they would need to pull an Actung Baby type album out of the fire. U2 were about to be written off as stadium dinosaurs then showed up with a bunch of amazing new songs, new sound and a new image but the essential core of what made them so great remained intact.

If there was a reunion they guys would need to do a lot more than just be VR with Axl on vocals. I think they would need to deliver on more levels than ever before. I don't know if guys in their 40's with millions in the bank have that kind of burning ambition. Even U2 cannot seem to capture that spirit anymore, it's all a bit safe. Maybe that's human nature..

Its not happening. Slash is making that crystal clear with this book and promo tour for the book.

I think this book is his way of permanently closing that chapter of his life.
