Any time some nut job did a horrible thing, we were told to blame Trump. El Paso shooter, blame Trump. Newspaper office got shot, blame Trump. Hispanic male stripper mails duds to Democrats, blame Trump.
It didn’t matter if the shooter had no connection to Trump, we were told by the media his rhetoric incited and emboldened them.
So when do we hold the media and Democrats responsible for the riots. They have been outright lying about the death of Taylor, and Twitter and left wing outlets are filled with comments from pundits and democratic politicians saying this is a travesty and we need to tear the system down. How are their words not actually inciting the rioters whom have shot several cops and caused hundreds of millions in damage?
Our left wing friends have been convulsing at the hypocrisy of McConnell. Where is there conviction at their own leaders who blame anything they can on Trump, but feel their blameless in inciting these riots?

He's acknowledging he'll sue if Democrats put ballots in every person's hand with no verification and accept turn-in booths on street corners, like they want to in PA. Democrats are doing it too. They've been fantasizing about throwing Trump out of office in cuffs led by the generals. Both sides have a team of lawyers that will cry foul. That's why it's important to have a 9th justice, because if Democrats are talking about one party rule and stuffing the courts, and being celebrated for it, what won't they do? That's the kind of shit 3rd world countries pull. Not 1st world nations.
I want every American to vote. But the notion that verifying a person's identity is somehow an attack on democracy is bullshit. There's no risk of the USPS not getting ballots post marked on time to the precincts. That's another bullshit conspiracy spun by the left to justify their overreach. It hasn't been Trump or Republican governors delaying elections without approval from their legislators - it's been Democratic ones. So if a state like PA does something fucky, like ordering ballots be counted days after the election without any signature or identification validation, damn right he has the ability to sue and let SCOTUS decide. Gore did it in 2000, and you bet your ass Biden will sue in 2020. It wasn't Republicans calling for the electorals to ignore their states in 2016, it was Democrats. There were articles in every major paper masturbating to the idea, praying that the college ignore the votes of their citizens.
If he loses the election, he'll step down. We're not Russia. This isn't the Hand Maid's tale. The man says a lot of stupid shit because he has the temperament of a 13 year old. I don't like the son of the bitch either, but you guys take the bait every single time. This guy can't go a week without some "insider" spilling the beans, and you imagine there's some universe where Trump becomes Fuhrer and rules for life. Every fucking election it's the end of the world and it's the Democrats versus the Third Reich.

Good to see the people of Louisville and across the country be reasonable adults.........

Or it gets mouth breathers on liberal networks to freak the fuck out and give him attention and free press. He's not going to ignore the results. He's not going to get a third term. This is obvious if you take a deep breath and count to 5.

Maybe the same people bailing them out are funding them?

So, there are going to be riots tonight.
Aren't there riots almost every night? If you have to board up police precincts and court houses, your audience isn't peaceful. Anyone who paid any attention and got the full facts knew none of these cops were going to be charged with homicide. Can we stop saying she was murdered? It sucks she died, but she did hold money and drugs for her ex-boyfriend. That is all on audio from him running his mouth inside jail over the phone. Her current partner stated he heard knocking, and fired without seeing his target the moment the police broke down the door, hitting a cop in his femoral artery. What does any rationale person think would happen when police legally serve a warrant and one of them is mortally wounded. That doesn't excuse the fired and indicted officer firing at random into neighbor's homes, but Taylor's death was a direct action of her boyfriend. I believe the same thing happened a couple months earlier to a white guy somewhere in the south, but lives only matter if they're black and taken by someone with a badge.

I'd say the book is done from how he's talking about it, but he can't stop tinkering with it (ahem, Axl). And 1,500 pages is ridiculous. He said a while ago he was resisting breaking it up.
What makes you think that. Do you read his NotABlog site? Just a few weeks ago he was talking about writing chapters for Arya and Tyrion. I hope he is done, but I have no reason to think so. Are you all caught up on the books yet? He's called his diversion into Essos his "Meereenese knot". The show brushed through Dany dealing with the Dothraki and leaving Slaver's Bay. Selmy is still alive and Tyrion is outside the gates of Mereen as a Soldier about to start the battle. Finishing that story in one book and getting Dany to Westeros at the End is a tall order in itself. To say nothing about Jon's line and everything that has to happen in the North with Stannis, Mance, and the Boltons. Cersei just had her Walk of Shame, and Jamie is in the Riverlands. Aegon just landed at Storm's End and Arianne Martell is waiting to meet him. All these stories need to be resolved in one book building to the final battle with the Others and the aftermath. That's quite a tall order.

misterID wrote:Yeah, NBC mentioned Trump "defying" her final wish 4 times in 90 seconds during that ceremony today. That's not a rule, and it's definitely not a precedent Dems want to start. She should have retired in '15-16 if this was a concern.
Breyer, the other Liberal judge, is 82! And Sotomayor has had serious health issues.
Hopefully trump can pick 2 more judges in the next 35 days.
No need to. Court will be 6-3 and even if Democrats get 51 seats, several of their members won't drink the kool-aid. The filibuster being removed is unlikely, and stacking the court is even more unlikely.
Reid was warned in 2013 when he removed the fillibuster it would blow up in his face. If you needed any more evidence of that, this is it. Reap what you sow and all that.
Look at how many Republicans voted for Kagan and Sotomayor when they were the minority party. Compare that to Gorsuch and Kavanaugh.

All this talk about RBG's "dying wish", but not a word on her comments condemning kneeling before the anthem, stacking the court, and not holding a vote for an open seat on the court.
It's plain & simple Rocky, Mitch McConnell said in 2016 there was no need for the Senate to hold hearing it needs to wait until election day.
In 2020 he says its the Senates obligation to hold hearings.
Everybody else is just pointing out McConnells hypocrisy, they're not being hypocritical themselves. It'd be like someone saying Tom Brady sucks, and saying no he isn't he's great. Then when he goes into the HOF that same person says 'He's the greatest of All Time' and pointing out that they said he sucked 4 years ago, and you claiming I'm a hypocrite because I'm not supporting your stance that he's the greatest of All Time, so I'm the hypocritical one.
You need to take back your words that Brady "sucks". McConnell needs to pussy up and admit he was wrong in 2016.
RBG didn't retire because McConnell wasn't going to hold hearings. She should have implied she intended to retire soon, to get the Hillary vote helped out, pretty sure she did or at least that was pretty much known. But again, she couldn't retire because McConnell wouldn't hold a hearing for Obama's replacement.
You are absolutely a hypocrite if you demanded Garland get a vote in 2016, but want to wait now for any reason. I don't know what is so hard to grasp about that. Yes, McConnell is full of shit. But so is Schumer and every other politician. Would you have given two figs if Scalia's granddaughter said his dying wish was to wait for a new President? No, you wouldn't. Your analogy makes no sense. It would make sense if I said "Brady sucks", then changed it to "Brady is the greatest of all time". Still a weak analogy, but you're the one who says Brady sucked, but now he's the GOAT.
I'm also waiting for your big intelligence meeting from Harris. It didn't work out the way you wanted, so you're going to ignore it. Again, showing hypocrisy. Trump's kids are pieces of shit, but Biden's son can take money from Chinese and Russian aligned oligarchs and it's peachy keen cause Biden is a Democrat.
No intelligent person buys any of this. They see right through and recognize that hyper partisans will say and do anything at any given moment depending on what is in their best interest. Let me know when you find that evidence of bounties or Melania's stand in.
I said Garland deserved a vote in 2016, and I said it looks shitty having a vote now after what McConnell did. I'm consistent. You, Mitch and the others say whatever serves your team at that moment in time. Tell me I'm wrong.
