Slash sounds so good on the CD riff. Where does he get that tone...fucking killer.
So far Axl has good rasp too - loved the "but it goes to show" line in ISE

It would be very easy to whip up new versions of the unreleased stuff.
Slam slash onto the Silkworms riff and it goes from industrial to Led Zep sounding.

Enjoyed it.
Although I've felt the past season or so they've dragged their feet to play it out longer. Like I felt the whole plot development from this week could be told in about 5 mins or something absurd if you recount it to someone else.
The show is still great, but I think the pacing these days is a bit slow if you compare it to an Episode from season 1 or 2 where it seemed things happen more often.

The just need to do something.
Either a remix of CD with Slash and Duff, or the long awaited CD2 that was written mostly in at least 10 years back with Slash and Duff, or redo that DJ stuff recorded 2 years back with Slash...or record something entirely new....just do something....it's 18 years since most of CD was recorded...and nearly 10 since it came out.

I thought Axl sounded good during the first half of the 2016 shows...more rasp than than he has so far in 2017.
Slash is awesome in that soundboard.
In a perfect world I'd have Slash and Fortus from now, with Sorum from 1992 and Axl from 2006....hahaha but this is pretty good...gives me hope if they release a fixed up Blu Ray it might be good.

Illusions have good stuff scattered amongst those two discs but as cohesive albums, they`re inconsistent.
Axl should have removed all Izzy`s songs while he was at it. They just suck and bog down quality.
It depends what you call an Izzy song I guess.
I'm not a fan of You Aint the First....but I wouldn't be messing with YCBM etc
