Man, that blu ray was fucking awesome.  Especially liked the chat Slash had before YCBM where he said they wouldn't have a video with a bunch of movie sequences added in, as we all know how the final product turned out.

So it's officially going to come down to GA in 4 weeks.  Both parties flipped a Senate seat, but the GOP is on track to win the House.  I thought if the GOP controlled both chambers that'd force both sides to work together, but if the Dems keep the Senate at 50/50, they ain't gonna do shit.  Just more political bickering for the next 2 years.

I can't believe how off the polls and models were.  But let's call this what it is, a huge GOP missed opportunity due to very poor candidates in states they historically should have won.  Record inflation, Biden's approval is through the floor, and the GOP still swing and misses here.  You'd think this would deter Trump from running since his list of endorsements is absolute shit at the moment, but we know better.  Rather than do an autopsy and try to understand how the GOP dropped the ball, Trump and Trumpers are going to dig their heels in deeper.  Congrats dipshits, running Trump all but assures a Democratic win in 24.

It's going to come down to GA again just like in 2020.  And Trump is gonna try to be the face of Walker's campaign and push Warnock right into re-election.  Guess the DNC's efforts to get Republican nutters nominated in the Primary paid off. A fucking stroke victim who can't make a coherent statement won in PA of Trump endorsed Oz.  Let that sink in for a moment.  The GOP lost a fucking senate seat to a man who lived off his parents until he was 50 and can't talk.

If this doesn't cause some serious soul searching and reflection in the party, I don't know what will.

I think the GOP will end up winning NV, GA and AZ, so 53 -47 is my final guess at Tuesday. I could see PA and AZ going GOP, but will be surprised if it goes GOP in both races. With NH on the cusp, a 55-45 Senate is in the realm of possibility, but that’s too optimistic.

I’m confident the GOP will have at least 51 seats come January, but anything beyond that is a pure educated guess.

Just keeps inching closer and closer to an all out GOP victory.  I'm sure Biden's emergency speech tonight will resonate with the 1/3 of the country who cares what alarmism comes out of his mouth.

I have no reason to believe Paul Pelosi was involved in some love triangle, but the Democrat's attempts to push this off as evidence of one way political attacks is just so dishonest.  When Rubio's campaign staff was beaten to a pulp last week the media dismissed it and some even tried to argue he deserved it because a Latino man was a "white supremacist".  Never mind someone showed up at SCOTUS with guns because of the hyperbole from the left, or the countless other examples.

I could give a fuck about Twitter, I don't use it.  But it's certainly fun to see the left freak out now that they no longer have speech censors willing to block any tweet that doesn't adhere to their fantasy land.

Now even 538 has moved their prediction in favor of the GOP:  https://projects.fivethirtyeight.com/20 … id=rrpromo

At this rate their tracker should have it a few more points in favor of the GOP by next Monday.

Good to see you back from your ban, Mitch.  Happy to see it had a positive impact on your posting.

After what happened with abortion, I'm surprised the GOP is expected to pull off a win.

It really shows the attention span of the public... abortion is ancient history now.

I don't know... maybe the world not ending after it happened like predicted played into their hands after all.

We'll see.....

The problem with abortion is that the Democrats choose to represent an even smaller view on the issue than Republicans. Sure, probably more than 1/3 of the country wants abortion banned completely. What exceptions exist varies, but they’re your anti-abortion crowd the Christian conservatives appeal to.

There isn’t a similar sized position for the Democrats to latch to. Collectively the party is endorsing abortion up to 40 weeks, and there isn’t any sizable voting bloc who wants infanticide on demand. But that’s what the party’s attempted to legislate, and many of those campaigning went full retard during the primary and have full throated support for 40 week abortions. See PA’s Fetterman as the standard bearer of this.

So what Democrats are forced to run on is that all Republicans want abortion illegal and the Democrats are the saviors of Roe. Dumb shits who can’t pick up a newspaper or independently verify attack ads just absorb that nonsense and go along with it. They want to portray the GOP as the extremist.

But ask the country if they think Graham’s 15 week federal ban that prevents states from going earlier is preferable to infanticide and see where the public comes out.

That’s why it’s so important to vote for each candidate and not the party. It’s why I’m voting for the moderate Jew and moderate Muslim in PA instead of the neo-fascist Christian or ultra progressive agnostic in PA’s election next week.

I enjoyed the season overall.  It did some really stupid things towards the end, especially with Rhaenys just kool-aiding through the floor, killing hundreds, and choosing not to end the civil war before it started, but overall I was very pleased with what they did.  Was very excited to see Aemond and Lucerys face off in the sky over Storm's End and really liked the change they made where the dragons were uncontrollable and did what they wanted to do.  Begs the question why Rhaenys's dragon didn't pick up on her emotions and nuke the Greens, but I'll let that one slide.  Maybe we'll get lucky and the show will introduce Cregan Stark much earlier than in the book.
