Pretty happy to get Live opening for my show. Pretty disappointed not to have any new shows within driving distance. Not at all surprised it was just more tour dates, though more than that would have been great. I can't believe after all these years that anyone is surprised when it's the least exciting announcement. It almost always is, so just expect that and go nuts if it's more.

He gets more solos than any other guitar player that I can remember ever got with Slash. I think that says something about him and how he's respected. Slash doesn't appear to have any issues with it on the surface.

Saw 4 shows last year and have another this year. It's not exactly what I want, but if I paid money to see them in 2012 or wherever it was, I'm certainly not going to miss Slash back in the band. I probably won't travel to see it again unless it's a full reunion.
New music would be great if that's what makes them happy. If not, this is fine. I'm long past getting upset about what they decide to do. I'll take what I can and put as much time, energy, and money into it as I feel like at that point.

I wouldn't get too worried. Look like it's SLC. He makes outlandish claims, defends conspiracy theories, then runs away when asked to defend a very specific claim. Then again, I haven't met someone who thought 9/11 was an inside job and spent years posting about it on message boards as very objective or fair. His 2 or 3 cohorts have driven everyone else away from the discussion and probably think they've accomplished something.
Oh, that's exactly what's happened. There's no point in trying to discuss anything with them, and the karma system is their way of patting each other on the back telling themselves how great they are. They are completely abusing it, so I don't feel the need to feed their imaginary egos. Or his as one person is really the problem.

I pop in every month or so for a few days. They can do whatever they want to do, but I'd prefer not to give one specific person the satisfaction he seems to get from it.
