I find that when people do that, it’s ‘You or Slash,’ it’s kind of a bummer, because I would rather people think ‘Me and Slash’. That’s the thing about music is you can have as much as you want and there’s enough room for everybody out there.

I think that is an excellent way that he puts the comparison with Slash.

Yeah it's sounding more and more like they can't all agree.  With one or two of them wanting one guy and the others not, or wanting someone else.

It's the kind of thing where you have a tour that's coming together, but it's so complicated at this level with managers and booking agents and different promoters and venues and itinerary and the production. The manager has to figure out how to get the gear from point A to point B all the time, without us going broke, and making sure all the crew is available. With everything, all it takes is just one link in the chain to get weak and everything unravels.

This continual crap that is sprouted from the GNR camp (I'm not referring to Ron as I'm sure he's getting fed the same shit), that everything they try and do is soooo difficult is complete horseshit!  It is not that hard, take a look at all the other bands in the world that tour - how is it that they manage to do it?

I gotta say I never thought too much of the complications that the "up in the air" schedule would have on the guys like Ron.  Your life would be permanently in limbo not knowing what was happening and not really being able to schedule too much outside of Guns just in case something happened and you have to axe your previous plans.

Good on Ron for calling a spade a spade and sharing his feelings.

Re the GNR camp - they seriously need to start developing an internal locus of control.

It was the typical hollywood story. A friend of a friend of a member of Pink's management staff happened to run into Axl at a grocery store of all places, and when the red-haired elusive rocker mentioned that he enjoyed Pink's music the wheels started rolling.

This part of the "article" should have been enough to raise eyebrows as to its authenticity.  As if Axl does his own grocery shopping!!  16

I recently purchased an Imac along with a Time Capsule wireless back up base station.

I also recently purchased a new TV with wireless and DLNA capability.  What I want to do is be able to stream, images (photos etc), video and audio on my TV directly from what is stored on my computer - wirelessly too.  The TV has the capability to do it, but the Mac is where it needs some tweaking.

I know the standard mac software can't do it but I have heard you can run Twonkymedia, Medialink and a host of others.  Has anyone had any experience with these?

Does that mean if I install one of these I would have to save all my music on say itunes as well as say Twonkymedia or whatever I install?

Anyone have any experience/suggestions with this?

Yeah I'm in WA which is on the West Coast so nowhere near it.  Ironically we have had bushfires here instead.

That's some crazy shit.

Yeah the sheer scale of the whole thing is what spins me out the most.  You sort of forget just how big some of the States here are Australia.  But it puts it into perspective when you overlay countries accross it like that.  75% of Queensland being declared a disaster zone - that's a MASSIVE area!

Yeah I am really interested in hearing some heavy stuff from Slash!  It's one avenue he really hasn't explored all that much, we've only seen glimpses of it.

Gotta admit that PrayFit post is pretty funny.  I would expect to see that shit on some late night shopping channel amongst all those Ab Exercisers and other wank.   16

I think there could be weight in what you have been saying for a while Monkeychow about somone in VR perhaps not liking him.

If VR get someone else and it's a flop then Slash still has the Myles avenue to fall back on.  This way he is able to hedge his bets quite nicely.
