Mikka - based on Jack White's involvement.

Supaplex. Mercury fronting the band had me, then my deep seated hatred for Geddy Lee was the final nail in MWM's coffin.

On the basis of Taylor on drums and Gilmour on guitar, I'm in Russ' camp here.

That's good news on the flicks. I may catch The Campaign when it comes out on Red Box.  The Hunger Games was such a great movie. Still need to read the books before the second one comes out in a few years. That sucks on the Target situation; but hope you get to pick it up tomorrow and enjoy the discs!

I did pick it up yesterday smile Woo! Target carries an exclusive (I guess everyone has their own special version, though) with 45 minutes of extra footage. Not like an extended cut or anything, just more background on the Tributes.

How good were those movies? smile Hope you guys had a fun time. I'm hoping to see The Expendables 2 later today with some friends of mine. Not expecting much besides some fun action and some laughs!

Hit and Run was good. There were a lot of laugh out loud moments, but I probably wouldn't pay to see it again.

The Campaign was also good. Again, wouldn't pay to see it again but I'd watch it at home from Red Box/Netflix or something.

In other news -- The Hunger Games comes out on DVD and Blu-Ray in about 10 1/2 hours. Our Target isn't opening at Midnight, so unfortunately I will have to wait until morning to go pick mine up, lol.

I went to a screening Tuesday of Hit and Run with Dax Shepard and Kristen Bell.

Last night, Russ and I saw The Campaign with Will Ferrell and Zach Galifinakis.

I'd be curious to know Nick's side of it.

I'm with you. I think there's more to this story. I don't know him well, but when we met him, he really seemed like a good kid.

Interesting. We saw Nick last year with him, and he was great. We're seeing Bach again this weekend.

A new generation will learn about Slash's guitar playing and albums of course without all the dirty laundry of the past. Having celebs on kids shows has been a good theme for programming cause it shows a lighter side to their persona. Hell, Slash did come on the show, I would watch it and see how it turns out.

I agree - it definitely helps to clean up the image of someone who parents may not want to let their kids be involved with, and that opens up gates for other learning.
