I mean, who else from the Dems do you think will take this?
(Dem Primary at least, not the whole thing)
Oh, my bet is still on Biden. I feel only he or Buttigieg can win in the general. But since you specified primary, I think Warren has a decent chance of winning the primary if the party caters to the people who cost them 2016. No way Warren wins in 2020 against Trump. Trump will keep every state he got in 2016 and then some. I know you hate Trump and by watching mainstream media you get the impression he's universally despised. But what you're not considering is that the bulk of Warren's plans have a stronger dislike than Trump. Plus, like Clinton, she's not likable. How are you going to convince rural PA or WI that Warren's beliefs are better for them than Trump. Again, things are better than they ever have been under Trump. I'm not saying he deserves credit, but don't forget what the ACA did to Dems in 2010 or Obama's move to the left in the Senate in 2014. Their actions got Trump elected, and it's clear to me they haven't figured that out yet. Aligning with AOC's GND and saying you're going to take people's guns (while doing nothing to remove guilty people who illegally enter our country or terrorize our inner cities) isn't a winning strategy. And if you think Trump's team isn't going to hammer that, you're gravely mistaken. More people watch Fox each night than MSNBC or CNN combined. Keep that in mind.

Brit Hume just said Biden is going senile because he (Hume) is going senile at a similar age. That crosses a line. I’m expecting this to be a big story tomorrow.
Ha, and a minute later he was heard on a hot mic asking if he was disconnected.

I'm sure you all saw this by now, how is this not an ethics violation?

Staying 3 hours away from Dublin, Ireland with travel by plane to & fro. Essentially like staying in Baltimore for a visit to NYC.
How much money do you think went into his family’s pockets? You’re aware Trump doesn’t solely own all these hotels right? Some of them he has a controlling interest in, but many “Trump” properties just brand them with his name. It’s like McDonalds, they don’t actually own the restaurant.
I have no idea if this is legal or what not. But I don’t recall your outrage when 50% of the foreign officials who met with Clinton donated to her private charity. Did anyone bitch that Obama was selling two books as he ran for office and afterwards.
I just saw that House Democrats are going to subpoena Stormy Daniels to testify next month.
I’d much rather have an opposition party that ran on ideas than one that howled at the wind for every perceived infraction.
Seriously. Trump plays golf in the hurricane zone to show people it’s ok, and he’s endangering lives by setting a bad example. If he wasn’t there, the media would still bitch.
I just have no interest in the selective outrage.

Just curious, have asked before.
How have you asked before when you just created your account the day you asked this question?

Check back in Jan/Feb, or a year from now. They'll all say it began last summer (ie. Now)
This is some real Nostradamus stuff. I have no idea what the future holds as I don’t understand stocks at all. But eventually we’ll enter a recession regardless of who’s in power. Brexit, trade issues in the EU, China, etc. all impact us. Just like the US housing crisis in 08 affected the globe.

Is this the same as "School's Out"?

What's going to be more interesting is Talib vs Maher.
The squad are not Democrats, they're not even liberals. They've allowed a minority of leftists to take over the party. I'm sorry, Bernie Sanders participating in the Democratic primary is a disgrace. He's not a Democrat.
The Democrats refuse to condemn them, and were quick to jump on the bandwagon when they called Trump a racist, so how can you say they're not Democrats? I understand your point, but Tilab and Omar have said actual anti-semitic things and actively support terrorist groups. Not the "both sides" bullshit the left has taken out of context and pretended was systemic of the entire GOP. Look at the groups Omar and Tilab had coordinating their "visit". Look at the actual things these two have said, "The holocaust gives me a calming feeling" or 9/11 was "some people doing a thing". They are bigots and anti-semites, and the DNC wouldn't even condemn their speech. This nonsense has been the talking point of leftist in Academia since at least 2000 when I started college, and now members of their party are saying everything actual Nazis say, but they're terrified to condemn it. Steve King makes some outrageous comment, and the GOP strips him of his assignments and condemns it. Tilab and Omar tweet in praise of Hamas and the most anti-semtiic groups in the world, and crickets. It's a farce.
Add in everyone but Biden promising the world and standing shoulder to shoulder with these yahoos, and you can understand why the sane among us are scared of what 2020 will look like.
But hey, Warren promised to strip medals of honor from guys who died over 100 years ago, so it's clear they're priorities are in the right spot.

Yeah, it's just like a vacation fundraiser. I'd read where its a city or town popular among expatriates. Probably people from California who retire in Mexico, likely with $$$.
I can see where FoxNews etc can get all over the optics of it, Mexico Fundraising == Russian Interference, but really, c'mon.
I'm completely aware that they're supposed to be citizens, hence why I said "optics". Especially with PACs, it becomes even harder to determine the source of money. Democrats are having a horrible time fundraising, so they're hosting an event in Mexico. That doesn't look good, any more than paying a foreign spy to pay Russians for dirt on a political candidate looks good. But this is the world we live in.

Any thoughts on the DNC fundraising in Mexico? I thought foreign involvement in our elections was the greatest threat facing our democracy? Granted, Clinton paid more to Russia for the Steele Dossier than the 100k Russia spent on Facebook ads of Jesus standing next to Trump. But the optics of this don’t look good.
