None of that is mentioned in the indictment.

https://www.factcheck.org/2017/03/misre … rescience/
On August 8th, Roger Stone, a longtime Trump political advisor and self-proclaimed political dirty trickster, boasts in his speech that he has communicated with Assange and that more documents would be coming, including an October surprise. In the middle of August, he also communicates with the Russian cut out Guccifer 2.0 and authors a Breitbart piece denying Guccifer’s links to Russian intelligence.
Then later, in August, Stone does something truly remarkable when he predicts that John Podesta’s personal emails will soon be published. “Trust me,” he says, “it will soon be Podesta’s time in the barrel. #crookedHillary.” In the weeks that follow, Stone shows remarkable prescience. “I have total confidence that WikiLeaks and my hero Julian Assange will educate the American people soon,” he says, #LockHerUp.” “Payload coming,” he predicts and two days later it does.
WikiLeaks releases its first batch of Podesta emails. The release of John Podesta’s emails would then continue on a daily basis, up until the election. On Election Day in November, Donald Trump wins. …
Is it a coincidence that Roger Stone predicted that John Podesta would be a victim of a Russian hack and have his private emails published and did so even before Mr. Podesta himself was fully aware that his private emails would be exposed?

This Roger Stone arrest is very weak. More heavy handed moves with no real meat on the bone.
What?? He's IT. He is the WHALE in this. HE, reached out to russian hackers, and GOT the ILLEGALLY OBTAINED HACKED EMAILS from Russians. He even ANNOUNCED it was going to happen.
HE IS IT!! He is collusion. He is Treason. He is the connection between Russia >> Donald Trumps Campaign.

I really want you to consider this SG...he could have done this much easier the last two years. He’s choosing now to address it and he’s choosing to address it in this way. This is about Trump vs. Democrats...it’s about power plays and trumps insistence in being perceived as the Boss.
I have two thoughts on this. One, I think Trump & the GOP want it to NOT become a 2020 sticking point, Trumps failed Wall promise. So he wanted to hardball Dems into voting FOR it, so that they couldn't make it a talking point.
Secondly however, I think Paul Ryan might've pulled a major Montreal Screw Job by never passing it, and then skipping town without telling him it never went thru, and Trump asking about it sometime in December "Hey so what's up with my wall?" and Ryan just saying, well, we never put thru funding on it. SOL.
There was a report about a book from a WH aide saying Trump was beligerent to Ryan, and that Ryan pretty much hated him. Makes sense as to Ryan leaving politics altogether. I'm sure he gets a cushy job on the outside, so it's not much of a risk.

You don’t believe trump will use a ‘national emergency’ to get out of looking weak? I am seriously considering that the most likely ending lately.
Well, you're totally right that he'll do that, but it won't fly over well. Either it dies in the courts, or he pushes it thru & the public sentiment is that he's an awful president with his commerce secretary saying 'Take out a loan' & Trump saying 'Grocery stores will give you credit. That's how they work'.
Fucking moron.

Pelosi is doing good if you just like resistance. But with all the lives it is affecting I would have made a deal and move on. But she has to do touch to satisfy the Ocasio Cortez type folks.
Nope. 100% wrong on this. This is Trumps shutdown, and the onus is & always has been on him to stop it, not Pelosi. Our governement doesn't work this way. A President doesn't shut down the government & demand what they want? Has it even ever happened this way before?
There've been times where I felt, well the Dems should just cave on this, and she hasn't, and now she's rubbing his, Pence's, and Sarah Hucks faces in it with embarassment.
They're not going to cave, Trump lost. It's over. Trump will give up & lose this outright. No negotiation. None, It's over.

Pretty cool early Motley Crue song popped up in my Pandora. Captures some of their early glam & punk rock mix. I kinda like it, would love to check out their first couple albums.
#1570 Re: Guns N' Roses » what makes gn'r such a great acoustic band? » 382 weeks ago
Yeah they were great acoustic. Not so sure about You Aint The First tho, it's a good Stones style album filling song. It sure captures a 'drunk twwentysomethings fucking around', but I wouldn't call it one of their better songs. I'll admit, underrated tho, and maybe that's where you were going with it.
As for Unplugged, TBH they got too big for it by the time Unplugged was a major thing. I think it first started as a small show around '90 and by then Guns possibly could have done it (I recall The Black Crowes being one of the first), but it wasn't a must-do like being on SNL was. Even an appearance on Headbangers Ball might've been seen as better promotion. When grunge bands starting hitting it big, Pearl Jam & Nirvana kinda put the show on the map, and by then Guns was just sortof too big for it, and touring worldwide.
Sure they should have done it, in hindsight. Maybe 'minimalizing' the band and set could've made them get back to themselves & their roots. Ashame they didn't do it, but I can see why it just never happened.
