#151 Re: Guns N' Roses » BETTER: second single CONFIRMED » 911 weeks ago

My only complaint about this song is the silly transition from 3:19 to 3:24.  Robins solo and outro is probably his best work on the album.

For me it's lossless all the way with this album, I think all of you should do the same wink

'Scraped' is quickly becoming a favorite track for me.

The guitar solo's on Sorry & This I love sound like a 15 year old doing a stupid amount of bends because they lack the imagination or talent to do anything else.

I suggest you go and listen to the guitar solo on "Sorry" again.

What I love about Thanatopsis, which I think defines the trio as opposed to other Bucket/Travis collabs, is Ramy's drumming.  He's one hell of an under-rated drummer imho.  I don't normally pay attention to drum parts but this guy is very good indeed.

and what of fortus...
would he have to go, or take a huuuuge backseat?

I forgot to mention Fortus.  If Bucket and Ron were on stage together, there would still be room for Fortus.  He can fill out the remaining rhythm guitar parts just like on the album.
