Thanks, I'll check it out. Saw it on there & considered watching it, it's one of the few Batmans I haven't seen. Heard mixed things about Affleck in it. Mostly seemed he was good in it, just didn't want a 3 installment reboot of him as it. Will prolly watch this weekend at some point if I can.

I don't tend to go out all that often at night due to advancing age and boringness anyway but psychologically it makes a real difference knowing it's illegal to even go for a walk or something in the eventing. Just messes with your head a bit when you've always lived a certain way.
I agree with this 100%. I don't really 'go out' anymore, however, just having the option is nice. Or, maybe step out with friends or a happy hour once every 2 or 3 months. Also, since there's nothing to do, I barely call or hear from friends much, just reading FB timelines is like my new social norm. Its been a tough year. I was exercising a good amount, running & biking, until around November mostly got too cold to do it very much.
Thanks tho for the wishes, and best of the new year to you & everyone here!

Saw Wonder Woman 1984. It was ok, but I had my issues with it.
Hidden Text:
I saw it, its ok. Felt its kinda about the same as the first one, good but not great. I feel she's a great 'story' & inspiration to girls, but the films & screenplay just can't ever make it work. Installment 3 if they make it (likely will I'd guess) needs an epic treatment. Like TDK, make it dark & epic saga.
As for WW84, I felt 80s theme fluctuated off & on a bit, didn't feel like it took place in the 80s the entire film, seemed kinda halfassed only in certain scenes. I didn't read that into it for your first spoiler, the second, yeah that seemed kinda thrown into it towards the end? Wasn't like Black Panther of an over-arching storyline theme of 'badness out there'.
Anyway I do like HBOMax alot. I watched Batman 89, man, that's a classic. I was always a fan but its been decades I think since I saw it. That said, I do sorta agree TDK is better, but Tim Burton & Jack Nicholson really raised the bar on expectations to live up to with Batman.
I'm not sure the whole DC Universe is gonna work out as well as Marvel. I feel DC storylines are better with Good guy/bad guy near standalone films. Like Batman & Spiderman or the 90s & 2000s etc. Trying to morph into MCU I'm not sure it's working.
Oh, I saw Joker. Wow!! I liked it alot, and didn't really think I would. Having said that tho, it sorta seemed like they took an indie script akin to Fight Club or Taxi Driver, and slapped on the Joker brand and snuck in him being Joker towards the end of it. Sortof ashame for younger people they don't get those generational movies anymore, it's all Marvel & comic books, or stupid comedies.

Odd mix of people. Did some of them work on his solo stuff or anything?
Yeah, wish I could hear Linda Perry more too. Wish they gave her a chance to continue VR after Scott. Even just a one off album & small tour.

Yeah, its been on the news. Seems a bit of a grey area, a new strain, more contagious, not more deadly...
The fear I would think is maybe it is not impacted by the vaccine, I'm not sure.
It's not known whether it's more or less deadly yet, but it is 71% more contagious. Meaning more people probably will end up dying by default. It's a disaster, I'm surprised even Trump hasn't shut down borders with the UK yet.
Yeah, thats why I said its a grey area, if its more contagious more people will get it, and even if the % of people who get it versus those who die may be the same percentage, the fact that more people will get it would lead one to believe more people will die. Sheer totals.

James, a friend of mine wrote a book. It's pretty good, kindof the life of a Gen-Xer in the 80s. Casette tapes, MTV, the 6 oclock news, fireworks etc. Runs from like age 5 to 18. You might get a kick outof it. https://www.amazon.com/Be-Home-Dinner-C … B07QYBR4ZF
Yeah Winona definitely suffered from the shoplifting thing. Although, admittedly its a pretty good career killer for a Hollywood elite. I also think when wmen turn 30 there's just always someone younger casted & roles are hard to come by. I read recently that Chevy Chase's Mom in Christmas vacation was only like 2 years old than Chevy Chase. Many films like Marvel Star Wars, Bombshell etc cast older actors (Pitt, DiCaprio) yet the female lead is in her 20s. Remember Megan Fox & Jessica Alba years ago?
Julia Roberts lasted, Sandra Bullock too maybe, but have many of them done much recently? The scripts & roles just aren't there.
I agree unfortunately Gen X never got much of a chance to lead. Google & Elon Musk maybe are two of the bigger inventions & biz leaders maybe.

Oh wow gateway pundit...fantastic source
This is the party/group of people that believes Hiliary Clinton had Vince Foster killed/pizzagate and other assorted hilarious bullshit. So I'm going to go with false on this given the history.
Deep fakes.

Greatest president of our lifetime. His policies where spot on. His presentation was shit. Compare his policy to the Dems and it is a no brainer, most agree. See the house and senate.
Lol greatest ONE TERM president of our lifetime.
If he was so great he would’ve been re-elected.
He was terrible at everything...especially the pandemic.
He didn’t do shit but eat fast food, golf and watch tv while continuously getting fatter.
He IS white entitlement.
I think HW was one of the better 1 term Presidents of all time. Def better than trumpf.

You are so brainwashed, and it pains me to see southerners become bootlickers to a carpetbagger. Even Tucker has mentioned that it's well known that entire family mocks his base (you). He's had one major legislative victory, which was Paul Ryan's tax cut that's full of holes and exploded the debt. He was at best a mediocre, petulant President. The press and Democratic opposition was just worse.
When he came in ISIS was running rampant, he shut that shit down.
When he came in little rocket man was running his cock sucker, he shut that shit down.
When he came in the market was at what, 18,000, it is over 30,000 now.
Obama said manufacturing jobs would never come back to the US, jobs came back to the US.
We left that stupid Iran deal and Paris accords. Our air is now the cleanest it has been in some times. We have peace deals all over the Middle East.
Everything Obama said was impossible Trump has tried to prove him wrong and has been successful.
Tucker likes much of Trump policy. Nobody is perfect but he wasn’t a puppet like Obama/Biden/Bush. Also he is not a war hawk like previous administrations.
I made the most money and paid the most taxes in my life over the past 4 years. I am Farrrrrr Better off now than 4 years ago. My story under trump of one of great prosperity and happiness. Sad to see it go.
Idiodic. If you think trump inherited ISIS/Middle East a bigger mess in 2017 than Obama did in 2009, please just stop voting.
As BigBri said, Kim Jung Un launched ICBM under trumper.
The Dow more than doubled under Obama, after inheriting a shit eceonomy, was hitting record highs in 2013. trump inherited a rising Dow and it continued until 2020. mnuchin had to dump $4 Trillion dollars into it to keep it afloat, really tho we're in a depression rn.
Obama was a war hawk?? That funny.
I'm glad you made great money, please repay the $4 trillion trump added to the national debt in 1 year please. unprecendented. And before you say 'Obama did it too', the worst the country ever spent before was $1.5 trillion, in 2009, to get us out of the worst economy in 100 years. Until of course trump took office.
