Rented Predator on NYE from Redbox. Terrible, just bad. Seemed like The A Team reboot, mixed with Oceans 11, mixed with Red Dawn or something. Just a bad movie & tried some ensemble cast mashup, not sure why. Doubt it was at all like the original but I'll have to watch it again.

Strangely I think we might get new material in 2019. Wasn't a long term prediction for me, just a hunch.

^^ Yeah, as soon as I read the first sentence or two I thought "Wasn't Michael Cohen the guy who claimed he never went to Prague & they were pushing the fact it was a DIFFERENT guy named Michael Cohen who must've been staying there"

lol, nice try on that one.

I don't get why Trump caved to far right commentators?  Supposedly after was was going to let it go earlier Rush & Laura Ingraham began to bail on him, saying its a disgrace, so he turned course again. Republicans totally bailed on him with this Wall issue, hanging him out to dry days before Christmas & before they leave with no Wall. He was like 'Whuut?'  So now he throws a fit blaming Dems.

He should've gone moderate & begun to work a bit with Dems, changing towards the middle, supposedly Reagan had a bad 81-83 then changed course a bit in 84. Clinton got beat up alot until 95ish when the internet took off. I suppose Trump knows he needs than far right support when the Mueller probe comes down, or when he fires him.

I think Trumps gonna go all out desperation ballistic. Shut down the Gov't, say he saved billions by pulling out of Syria, ask why Dems aren't using the money saved for the wall, blame Dems, fire Mueller, claim it was all Dems, new AG approves of it, Gov'ts out on holiday session. He'll expect Americans to be tired of it all by January.

So I heard something interesting to ponder about that Maria Butylia Russia girl recently taken in in the US. There's that question she asked DT at an NRA mtg about Russia relations, and Donalds answer seems pretty well rehearsed. Also, I find it quite 'coincidental' she navigated her way thru to actually asking a Presidential candidate a question. Odds seem quite high on pulling that feat off.

So, the question becomes, how propped up was she & that whole question, and who planted her?  DT?  NRA?  Russia?  Was it all an orchestrated scene?

Also it appears that AMI, who owns the National Enquirer has reached a deal with New York prosecutors for its role in paying off women for Trump, buying the rights to the stories and then squashing them. Something they denied initially. They'll be working with the prosecution going forward. Think how many people now, who know all the dirt on Trump, are giving that info to the government.

I think there are more than 1 women. And more than 2. I find it highly coincidental that the 1 person he signed an NDA with happened to have never returned her signed copy. I think there were dozens of payoffs, possible 100 or so. So the 'payoffs' were upwards into the millions. Trump has the cash. Although, I'll speculate that the money even came out of the Trump Foundation charity, and was non-taxed money as well (A minor thing in this, but shows his ethical and patriotic character). Hence the FBI raided and seized Cohens office & files. In his files, are detailed notes and emails and contracts related to Russia, payoffs for the wikileaks, and incoming and outgoing payments to Russians. Cohen was caught in a blatant mess, and knows its bigger than him, and bigger than Trump. I think he knows it's treason, and gave up.

Figure also, that alot of this probably tied into some of Flynns testimony, and they probably questioned Flynn on what he knew about the Stormy Daniels situation. And he probably dove awfully deep into some details about what Cohen did. Heck, maybe the whole Stormy Daniels/Michael Avenatti was propped up as a result of findings they got from Flynn.

Lastly, I bet the investigations winding down, and there was no 'deal' offered to Cohen. He was caught, and he's toast. However, what he did, and the "3 years" is probably somewhat minor. I agree surprising he didn't try to challenge it, especially being a lawyer & knowing possibly he could find a technicality or something, but again I think he knows what he did, knows he got caught, knows what they know, and possibly knows Flynn told them everything.

^^ I think Betsy Devos & Steve Mnuchin are about the only ones left. Only prominent/bigger named position ones at least.

Its an Obama success. The market under Trumps first year was just riding his coattails.

Besides, the market is speculative. If anything, all it would be saying is:

Year 1: Hey, myb this guy knows what he's doing.

Year 2: Nope.
