After that, I'm ready for Locomotive and shit ....
Locomotive on rhythm is actually pretty easy to sound credible on. I'm sure I miss little nuances, but again I just play along with the cd.

Buzz, don't make it sound THAT easy!
It's not easy, but there are a lot if recurring themes. I can only play the first half of estranged, then the rhythm the rest of the way. A lot of what I do is a hybrid of Izzy and Slash. I learned by playing with the cd, so I don't know the proper way to play them. Easy isn't the right word, but once you learn some basic stuff, you can fake it from there.

I am a hack, and I can't play all of these perfect but here's a list of songs I can play well enough that you'd recognize them:
Jungle
It's so easy
Nightrain
You're crazy
Rq
All of lies
Lald
Don't cry
You ain't the first
Bad obsession
Dtj
Nr
Coma
Civil war
Yesterdays
Kohd
Locomotive
Estranged
Ycbm
Several spaghetti incident songs
Again I don't play these well and im sure i missed some i know, but I can play them enough to recognize them. It's just fun for me. Tune the guitar to the cd and play along. As long as it's fun, that's all that matters.

Las Vegas Arena, I'm there!
I will catch a show there as well. I already have a trip there in June, but I will make another one if I have to.

I think next week was supposed to be an official announcement. We'll see if this pushes it up.
Gnr nightrain is holding a special drawing right now for a big surprise, and they are no longer accepting new members. I was going to join a few weeks back, too
I joined on the 27th...just in time. Signed up for the contest. We'll see what happens.
There's a good chance I will be at the Chicago show wherever it ends up being. Since I was so close last time, I'm content with seats wherever.

I don't get the 2002 love. An album filled with songs like Shackler's was a disaster waiting to happen. To me, cd had 1 great and 1 decent songs on it. Yes, they both came from that era, but so did the 11 or however many other songs.
The label rejected the album if I remember correctly. Part of that was certainly because there was no Slash, but when I put cd on for the first time, I couldn't listen past the 3rd song. My wife said "what the hell is that, it sucks" not having any idea what I was listening to. I can totally see the label having the same reaction.

I sense a good Healthcare rant coming soon...

Lol at the haters. Saw it this morning, IT WAS AMAZING!!!
Seriously one of the best movies ive seen in my life. I can agree with a few of ur alls points myb but i cant even get thru all the posts on the last couple pages. The movies tremendous, everyones a critic.
Agreed. I don't let all the details ruin a movie for me; I just enjoy it for what it is. Stars was EU got too big anyway with conflicting books/storylines. This movie stands on it's own to me even if you didn't fully understand the previous movies.

Contracts have been signed for some time. Doesn't meen all the details were set, but the leg work for this has been going for quite a few months.
I'm all for a meetup, but it's not going to be at a festival unless that is the ONLY chance to see them, which would be impossible to believe.

Mind blown when I walked out of the theater. Lots to digest. Saw it in 3d, going to see it again without it. It was distracting at times.
I think the movie was good. Could have used some more depth, but it stands on its own. I bought the book. Looking forward to getting some of the depth that was missing (hopefully).
