If Better doesnt do "Better" then its game over.. assuming it makes it as single
that was a very innaccurate statement
the single will do better the second week and if it doesnt the album sales is what will decide whether or not this album is a success anyways and apparently cd is best buy's number one seller right now and it's not even out yet.

it's definitely not all about axl
but for argument's sake: if you put all of the musicians featured on cd in a room with a really good singer/lyricist and told them to write 14 songs you wouldn't have anything close to this good. axl has the ability to pull everything together and twist and tweek until it is something special where as in a lot of other bands the songer is just that, a singer.

This may sound a little bit hypocritical coming from me, but I really wish radio people would stop trying to tell people what to think about a song. I understand why they do it, but I don't think it helps. Their job should be to play the music and entertain, not influence what people do and don't like.

who cares
so many great bands have broken up in history and that was the last we heard from the respective members. i am not huge on vr but old gnr breaking up resulted in two noteworthy musical entities. could axl change this to a solo project? yes, but move on people. the jump from appetite to UYI's was far greater than the jump from UYI's to chinese democracy IMO so this can be considered gnr in that regard. either way, axl was not gonna do another appetite or UYI, with or without the old band members and i respect that.
