But what's confusing you
Is just the nature of my game
Just as every cop is a criminal
And all the sinners saints

Really want to hear this song now. Probably won't happen because of the history, but the GN'R version kicks ass. Don't care what anyone says.

Scotland leaving the UK because they want to join the EU, now wouldn't that be hilarious. 14

I think the UK should leave. The sooner the EU falls apart, the better.

There is no England per se I think. The state is the UK. If Scotland or somebody wants to leave that would be a separate decision. Until then, where the UK go, they go.

I would be happy to see some locomotive.  I would also like to see One in a Million, not because of the controversy with the lyrics, but because it's only been played live once that I recall (that unplugged CBGB's gig), but more importantly I really like the tune.  The background electric guitar riff coupled with the acoustic sounds awesome.

NOT going to happen in this climate. sad

A shame really. It is one of their best songs. No white man with his marbles still intact will stand on a stage and sing those lyrics in 2016. Even 30 years ago it was very ballsy.

Is Chinese Democracy available at Fye?  Anywhere outside of best buy?

They're selling it at the online store at least.

I have serious doubts too. I think he was ok in 2009 - if you look at boots from there he's still busting out some big screams and stuff - however that's the last time I thought he had real vocal power - and it was 7 years ago.

Still....a return to that is possible....as aside from LALD he seemed more mickey in 2002 than 2006....so I think it's possible he could get it back.

That Tokyo show was immense. Best I've heard him since the 90s.

On the one hand you can say this was 7 years ago, but at the same time you can say he does much better here than the 8 years between 01 and 09.

He's Mickey when out of shape. Unfortunately that has been most of the time.

He still is capable of putting on a good shows though. Having Slash back might motivate him further, not wanting to look out of place next to him.

But that all comes down to "if". At this point I'm not expecting anything past what we have seen in the last decade.

I think he's perfectly capable of singing those songs, but he probably wouldn't want to do it every night – just like Prostitute and TWAT only got broken out on special occasions.

I mean, it'd be great if he defied expectations by opening with Perfect Crime instead of the widely anticipated WTTJ. And adding Don't Damn Me to the setlist would be a clever move – in terms of live performance it's effectively a new old song from the UYI era.

He is capable. From time to time he can still belt out good version of Jungle and YCBM, so the voice is there.

His problem is stamina. Jungle is first in the set so he often nails that, but even there he sometimes struggle after the first verse. Stuff like YCBM is similar, but worse, coming later in the show and tougher to sing.

Maybe he is too old to get back into the necessary shape to handle these songs. He should be able to perform them better though. If that happens we could see some rarities being played, but I don't expect it to be often. Locomotive and Coma were once in a blue moon back on UYI tour.

Terrible. Do you have family/friends there? They ok?

It's unclear what caused the blasts, or if they're related to terrorism.

Right..
