The system is already run by billionaires. How is another billionaire gonna change that.
To me, Trump is just cutting out the middle man. He's a billionaire who decided he would just run for the spot himself rather than funnel money into a politician for results.

I am delighted that the forums in general are lit up over this reunion and all the haters from both sides have quietly stopped the civil war.

I've talked about the point of diminishing returns in regards to seeing them play together. Yes it will be awesome, but it's not going to be that much more amazing than what I've already seen "nu" GnR play live. The Missus agrees. Do the ticket prices justify the end result? I guess we'll have to see. If no new music comes of it, then I'd say probably not. I'll see this once, pay the prices once, and that's enough. Izzy could be contributing to new music from the sidelines, which I'd imagine he would. But he's right, Axl probably still is in charge, which doesn't necessarily make me feel all warm and fuzzy about all of this. Currently my excitement level is a 6/10.

I've only met peeps from the old-skewl-HTGTH-daze: Kujo, Sex Kitten, McGann, and Bud Fox.
I'm actually having dinner with Kujo next month when he comes to town. He can't be bothered with GnR anymore, even with Slash and Duff on board. Shocking considering he traveled all over the US (like me) in 06 to see 'em.

Glad he's gone but once again it sounds like no new material was coming in a CD era GNR. Axl wanted to TOUR again....Tommy balked. Ashba chose Sixx over GNR and says he was sick of playing other peoples songs.
1+1=2 here. We were on the verge of getting another 'AFD disguised as Chinese Democracy' tour before band members started fleeing, which led to the reunion.
Its why new GNR fans shouldn't resist what happened. You weren't getting that album under those circumstances. You were gonna get DJ pretending to be Slash onstage again and praise Jesus he said no to it.
Now we have a chance to get something.
At the end of the day all fingers point to Axl wasting the talent he brought on board (over and over), and ultimately being a lazy ass.
