Album is titled 72 Seasons.
I like the cover.... although the yellow is a bit abrasive.
It’s certainly better than the godawful Hardwired album artwork.

Good - new single, with new album coming
Bad - tour announcement, and no mention of Australia
Seriously, announcing a world tour to everywhere else BUT Australia seems like a cunt move from them, when they haven’t toured Australia since 2013, and they canceled their 2019 tour that was supposed to come here. We never got make up dates either.
It’s left a bitter taste in my mouth, for what should be happy time to be a Metallica fan.

I was on the rail on Slash’s side. We got smashed with freezing cold rain for the second half of the show. It was absolutely relentless, just wouldn’t let up, which definitely hindered my enjoyment.
The band were as expected, strong in parts, sloppy in others (especially Slash), but they were in good spirits throughout.
I think this was the longest show so far, we got both Sorry and Whole Lotta Rosie.
I’ll post more tomorrow, but I’m beat.
Definitely too much for this 44 year old body!

In Vegas 2016 I wore an all over print spaghetti coloured TSI t-shirt. Today, I’m wearing a blue all over print UYI2 t-shirt. I’ll be easy to spot amongst the sea of black t-shirts! Haha
I’m hoping Axl sees my shirt and is inspired to bust out Locomotive in the set!

They played Gold Coast QLD last night, and swapped in Whole Lotta Rosie, in place of Sorry. I tuned into a stream on Facebook and listened to a lot of it. Axl sounded pretty awesome on Civil War, and bad and some others. But he’s sounding better than he has in the past. And he seems to be in good spirits too.

I wouldn’t mind hearing Bad Obsession again. Especially with Melissa singing background vocals. No high parts either
