I think this is good news, but BP's word doesn't mix with 'what's on the street'.
How can you take a rumor, and what it was born of and dissect it to say "yeah a song is on the soundtrack to Body Of Lies", but Azoff and Gould weren't there, no Best Buy announcement, no songs played for the Holiday Con crowd.
It doesn't make sense. Me thinks it all or none. Either it's confirmed the deal was done in the last two days, Best Buy-only release, Azoff & Gould were there and played tracks, an a song is gonna be on Body Of Lies.
Or it's ALL bullshit.
didn't you guys every do that exercies in school on rumors where one person makes a statement and whispers it into the next person's ear and that person has to try and repeat it to the next person and so forth............by the time the final person hears the statement the details are completely different.

some guy with only 6 posts is claiming that the deal with best buy has just been signed off and cd will come out nov. 25th. there will also be a new gnr song on the end credits for the upcoming diCRAPrio movie 'body of lies

- the timing being soon
- a song other than sr bneing on the radio as the first single

So you believe that his issues are not at all with the material and only with himself? I just want to make sure I understand your point properly.

actually, i see a trend going back to the USE YOUR ILLUSION albums. the difference is he is sorrounded by employees rather than equal band members, who were able to get through to him. axl has always been insecure and has always lacked the concept of time. it's not the faith in his music that is missing but the faith in himself. i don't think the wait has always been about the music being ready but him being ready to deal with what goes along with releasing the music, like all of the attention being drawn onto him.

Not if the others weren't interested in a reunion.
I think it's pretty clear he has no confidence in the material and releasing SR the way they did just further leads me to believe he's looking for acceptance of the music before releasing it. If people hate it, it's a BH song...if they love it, prepare for CD.
you want to make this difficult i see. fine. forget the reunion. my point stays the same. axl could sit back and do nothing if he had no faith in his music, as opposed to continuing to spend money and time on these songs and touring and playing new and unreleased songs during the tours.....how's that?
sr was meant only for the game - i am convinced of that now. it may be on the album but they will release a better song as the first single to introduce the album.

if he didn't have faith in his material i don't think he would have spent so long and worked so hard on it when it would be so easy to give up and do a reunion.

I don't understand why he would be paid off. He didn't leak anything or post a link to anything illegal on his site. If the GN'R camp had this kind of power to pay someone off to shut them up, we wouldn't see as many bad reviews of the new material that we have.

cause he was becoming gnr's unwanted spokesperson. gnr wants to promote the album when it is time. they do want msl to do so. plus the leaks that they couldn't prove but knew he was involved in.
