Indifferent, I haven't heard of the guy before and I know some posters have been kind enough to post youtube vids of some of his work, but to be completely honest I can't even be fucked watching em.

Nothing at all against the guy I just don't really care.  Another guitarist - same shit different day.  I'm sure he will be completely serviceable as a live guitarist and be technically very proficient.  I wish him the best of luck!

If he is still around when some new music is written with the intention of being released in a timely manner then I might get excited and do some more research on him.

Ok I finally decided to read the Tommy article since there is not much else going on in GNR land  (is is just me, I have had next to zero interest in what these guys have to say, probably because they usually can't say anything??).

Anyhow, kind of off topic but I'm curious, the first post in the thread links to the article as it was posted on HTGTH.  Now they have obviously breached copyright to post scans of the article, which in itself is funny given their propaganda about not posting leaks because it's not our material and it deprives the artist of $$'s etc etc.  Seems artists are entitled to make money out of their own material but magazines aren't.

But, that issue aside, the bit that got me was that they then even had the hide to put a HTGTH watermark over it, when it's not even their material in the first place???? WTF  18

#2034 Re: The Garden » Other Countries You've Been To » 894 weeks ago

You're lucky APE living where you do, so many countries are only a short duration flight away from you, plus you guys seem to get some REALLY cheap fares!!!

I remember when I was in London seeing adverts for 99pence fares to fly to Venice etc. I know they probably slug you with taxes and extra luggage costs for anything weighing more than 5KG, but it's still bloody cheap.  It means you could feasibly fly to another country for a long weekend and not loose too much time flying or too much $$'s in getting there.

Living in Oz, particularly in Western Australia it takes sooo long just to fly out of the state, let alone to another country and the cost is sooo prohibitive too.

GNR Evo is definitely a blokes lair.  All we are missing is a few "grease monkey" nudie calanders on the walls, a sink full of dirty dishes and a fridge full of nothing but beer.

Cheers Neemo, it was anything goes and you're crazy that weren't done then.

I actually have 2 versions of Sweet Child, one with the Figaro Figaro Figaro plus another that is exactly the same but doesn't have that in.

Never heard about the Paradise City leaking MisterID, very interesting.  I'm surprised it has never turned up again.
