Yes it is.  Apparently they re-recorded all songs except Think About You and You're Crazy (someone will correct me if I'm wrong on that point?)

You can hear the re-recorded Sweet Child on the Big Daddy movie soundtrack.

I beleive the reason for re-recording was they had to practice the songs anyhow in order to play them on tour.  Axl also wanted to play around with new technology to improve things that he couldn't when it was origianlly recorded due to techncial limitations at the time.

I don't believe any other re-recorded songs have been leaked/released other than Sweet Child.

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

I have had a gutful of this woman.  I couldn't bring myself to read all that, I got sick of it after the first few paragraphs.  But I read enough to confirm my suspicions that this girl hasn't spoken to Axl in years (fuck I've seen Axl and spoken to him more recently than this tart), she clearly is desperate to try and reconnect with him but from what I can tell Axl is playing it smart and keeping a wide birth of her.  I would too!

Her claim to fame I think is actually quite embarassing, particular if the full details of the story are thrown out there - which she conveniently neglects to tell every time.  Iv'e heard in the past plus more recently in Stephen Davis' book the full story of the Rocket Queen moaning.

Adriana is on her back in the studio being "warmed up" by Geffen's lawyer Jeff Fenster.  He then gets off her when Axl enters the room and Axl climbs on for the "main event".

Newsflash Adriana - I don't think Axl ever saw you as anything more than a receptacle for his load.

Whenver I hear any versions of that "Clappy" song I keep thinking of the song "Hey Mickey" or any other 80's song with the automatic clapping machine.  16

Good to see VR still think there some mileage yet for songs with clapping 14

Interesting too that he also plays guitar.  I wonder how that dynamic may work with VR?

I just added a third one "Punchline" to my first post.

Try listening to the other 2 Axlin08 to get a better idea of his voice, PC is always gonna stir up strong emotions in a hardcore GNR fan when someone other than Axl sings it.

I really like Punchline his voice at times almost sounds like Steven Tyler to me.

Yeah it's hard to tell because the music he has to sing over on Sewerpipe doesn't really inspire me.  You can't make a silk purse from a sow's ear. 14

I think he does a good job though.

The Paradise City one is interesting - I thnk he pulls it off well.  I don't think this was a song that Weiland would have been able to pull off vocally.
