For those that still care, the entire UYI Super Deluxe Box contents (minus the Bluray), plus the individual UYI deluxe albums are all up for streaming. The quality on Apple Music is lossless too. And I haven’t had to pay the stupid $500 (AUS) asking price to listen to all this.

See, there are benefits to streaming big_smile

But then again, this is GN’R, and they have a track record of fucking things up don’t they? 14

I’m not anti-CD, but some of you guys would have to be the only people on a music based message board I’ve ever encountered that don’t stream to listen to music.

To carry a huge stack of CDs with me to listen to my music with me wherever I go, is just inconvenient and kinda stupid when with Apple Music or Spotify I have thousands of songs easily accessible at my fingertips, all on my phone.

I also don’t know of a remastered set of UYI that was released prior to now? And especially not on streaming services.

So yeah, I think I’m in my right as a music consumer, to be a bit annoyed to not have the original November Rain available as a remastered track, as a option to listen to aside from the 2022 remix.

You’re all crazy…just listen to your CD’s you bought in 1991 and be happy.

Who listens to CDs these days? It’s all about streaming.

But if you want to stream the new remastered UYI albums, November Rain won’t have the original remastered, it’ll have this new remixed version sitting in with the rest of the remastered tracks.

I’m with Monkey, I would rather have the original remastered and this new remix as a bonus.

2022 Version of November Rain is here…

Honestly, the new orchestration adds things that are unnecessary. The original is so ingrained in my brain, that additional instrumentation just sounds weird.

Also, Axl’s vocals on the outro sound weird too. Like they’re higher in the mix.
Again, because the original is so ingrained in my brain, any differences stand out like a sore thumb.

It’s madness that Slash and Duff let him do it!

They shafted him in the GN’R reunion, the least they could do is let him release the VR leftovers.

I don’t understand Scott’s beef with Matt. Matt always sang backing vocals at VR shows, right from the beginning. I thought he added some really nice harmonies when he did it too. I think Scott was just getting paranoid towards the end of their run.

As for the vocals, while it’s not everyone’s cup of tea, I don’t think they are terrible by any means. Matt even said that he was trying to channel Lemmy with his voice, after Lemmy heard the demo and said he wanted to sing on the track.

I also feel like with the VR split, these songs are just sitting around gathering dust, because everyone else moved on and has no intention of revisiting this stuff. So if Matt wants to put them out, good for him.

It's incredibly annoying that there's a collection of decent riffs composed by half of GN'R just sitting there because Axl wants to tinker with old Chinese Democracy demos.

This. SO MUCH THIS!!!!

It’s madness right???

Also watched In The Line of Fire with Clint Eastwood. I hadn’t seen it in years, but it’s aged pretty well and kept me interested from the get go. Only odd part of the movie is placing Renee Russo as his love interest when he’s like 50 years older than her… gross! lol

John Malkovich is the perfect villain.

I watched Morbius recently. It was quite terrible. Shame, because there is a good premise for a story there
