I can definitely hear some of it in there.

I'll admit Paul isn't perfect misterID. I am just a young guy supporting a candidate. Feel free to join the thread! I'm not big on confrontation/arguing either smile.

PS. Astro's jersey is sexy.

I will probably watch 4-6 in 3D. No interest at all in seeing the prequels.

Why does everyone want the government to regulate the internet? Get them out of it. The internet is great because it's unregulated and there are ways to work with it without killing it.

DCK, obviously I don't want anything bad to happen to you or your country, but the US should be looking out for it's own interests first.

It's not our job to be subsidizing defense around the world when it's damaging to us economically and potentially dangerous in other ways. Iraq and Afghanistan HAVE been very damaging to our presence in the world. Paul would walk softly and carry a big stick, declaring war with the congress, constitutionally. Which is one of the many reasons people like him. He is not a pacifist, he is a constitutionalist.

As of the last reporting date, at the end of September, Paul leads all candidates by far in donations from service members. This trend has been in place since 2008, when Paul ran for president with a similar stance: calling nonsense at hawk squawk from both parties.

This year, Paul has 10 times the individual donations — totaling $113,739 — from the military as does Mitt Romney. And he has a hundred times more than Newt Gingrich, who sat out the Vietnam War with college deferments and now promises he would strike foes at the slightest provocation.

Paul has more military donations than all of the other GOP candidates combined and more than current commander in chief, Obama. What does this say about what our troops want?

Semi-decent video on RP and foreign policy. Other than the brief 9/11 footage early in the clip, it's an enjoyable watch.

I thought this was pretty interesting. A tag cloud analysis of Mitt Romney's and Ron Paul's New Hampshire Primary speeches. One of them sounds a lot like Obama.

Buckethead, Tommy, and Frank define New GNR to me.

Frank because I met him and he was super nice to me and my friends in 07 (08? Can't remember.) He is a badass drummer.

Buckethead because I love his solo work and he carried so much talent into the band.

Tommy because he's been there since the start for Axl/New GNR

As a Paul fan, I approve. Romney looks very strong, but this year delegates are being awarded proportionally, not in a winner takes all format, so it's not as over for say Gingrich or other establishment GOP candidates YET.

Heading into South Carolina the polls look like...

b223514940.png

Will Romney win and go 3-0 in primary states? Does Gingrich and his super PAC have a chance to knock Romney down? Is there room for Santorum to gain with social conservatives? When does Huntsman realize he will never gain any traction in SC and drop out after staking his entire campaign on NH? Can Ron Paul get a bump from his unexpectedly strong NH finish? When will Perry realize he's through!?

All this and more when some more polls from SC come in

Hearing Ron Paul call Newt a chickenhawk during the debate was pretty awesome.
