I love riling up gamers.
Just throw my little hand grenade in, and grab some popcorn.
Did you come into this thread just to troll because if so that's pretty pathetic. If not well it appears you've got nothing better to add to your arguement because you were proven wrong.

i'm talking motion controls..you know how many actions they'd have to program?
Its' easy. Each motion represents a button. A swing to left= B, swing to right = A. Swing up= Y Swing Down= X. It's fairly simple.

I've loved all the GTA games ive played (III, Vice City, San Andreas, Vice City Stories) and the stories are great as well, the only time i find the game to lose its appeal is to do some of the side stuff....btu all in all i find the main storylines are ace...It sucks that Wii doesnt have them, but hey what can ya do, programming for Wii is totally different then the other consoles and the computer, or so i've read, its pprolly hell to program those GTA games once...let alone twice
Actually programming for the Wii is the easiest of the bunch since it's very similiar to Gamecube programming which almost all development studios are already used to. Making a PS2 level GTA for the Wii would be quite easily doable. A lot easier than one on the Xbox 360 or PS3.

Cant believe Psycho got eliminated this early.
Yeah, a worst movies elimination sounds good. Would be the first time Howard the Duck won anything.
The discussions for the worst movie elimination would be hillarious. We'd have users explaining the redeeming qualities of Gigli
EDIT: Just discovered John Barry did some of the score for Howard the Duck.

Star Wars. It's a Sci-Fi classic. The Dark Knight was just a very well done super hero film that was succesful at the box office. If it wasn't for Ledger's death it would never be as loved as it is.

you're avoiding the questions. did axl do advance promotion months in advance like anyone lead singer would do so their new album or debut album would be top selling #1 hit on the album charts? did axl do this for chinese demoracy? did he do it or did he ignore the fans? don't avoid the issue. give me an asnwer: yes or no
Answer: No he didn't do enough.
Better question though
Who was friendlier to the fans: Robin or Axl? Please back it up with some evidence.

I like the sandbox elements of the GTA games. Most games imo suffer from you being stuck doing what they tell you to do and going where they make you go. To have a city, albeit an often small and unremarkable city (although GTA's are constantly improving their settings) totally open is really fun.
My favorite super-hero game was Spider-Man 2 because you could go all across Manhattan if you felt like it, occasionally stopping a small time mugger or doing mini-missions.
Sand box games are fun, especially if you can mix some sort of storyline into it. GTA found a good balance and not many other games are hitting that niche.
My main problems with the GTA games is after a while you run out of things to do in the city and with the story being incredibly boring it takes a lot of effort to progress to a new area just so you can explore it. The sandbox element is fun but I also enjoy having a direct line to follow with an interesting story and challenging gameplay where I can go back and replay my favourite parts again to enjoy the challenge. Saints Row 2 got the free-roaming sandbox style gameplay right. It's got the fantastic GTA sandbox freeroaming world but with a lot more things to do and it's a lot more fun, unlike GTA where I can go and play imaginary bowling with my cousin Roman... how fun

I don't know what to tell you, Axlin. I was 8 years old when I got into GNR - When AFD came out. I liked them from the moment I saw Jungle the first time. I went through the UYI and TSI? (which I like btw) but it didn't break my heart Slash wasn't in the band anymore. I never saw Slash as a Jimmy Page type figure. And I never put GNR on the same level as Zeppelin or The Stones, either. I really followed GNR for Axl. Slash was cool, but wasn't the main reason I liked the band. That band changed, to me anyway, the moment Izzy wasn't in the band. So, I was pretty accepting of GNR as the Axl Rose show. And there was a lot I didn't like about UYI and I wasn't real hyped about a future, imo, "throw back" classic rock type album. Plus, my tastes have always been geared towards Alternative Rock, that might have something to do with it, too. Again, it's a matter of what appeals to you. I'm not slamming anyone who sees things totally different than I do, and prefers it the other way around.
It just comes down to me prefering Robin, Bucket, Tommy and Brain over an album with the old guys. The music I thought I'd get from them is what I got. That's why I still follow this band and I prefer all the "new-line up" recordings over a lost "old-line up" album (I'd still be interested in hearing it though, and I'm not saying its meaningless)... The new music touches me more as a whole than 'a some of its parts', like UYI. I love the feel and sound of the new band. That doesn't change my feelings for AFD, which I still love. But I know I would have never got another AFD from the old-line up. The direction they were heading was something I wasn't interested in. It might not be totally fair, but going by VR and SSP I'm pretty sure I was right.
Most thought out and well explained reason I've ever heard for preferring the new era over the old era. +1 Karma for you sir.

GTA: Chinatown Wars was released on the Nintendo DS a few months back.
Despite getting favorable reviews among fans and critics, it was a commercial flop.
Favourable reviews is an understatement. It was reviewed as the best game on the platform.

What was good ten years ago then?
Think he means the current one. Cause the past decade would be 1991-2000. I think Dufff means everything since the start of the 21st Century.
