There's actual footage of these atrocities...and I don't think the Palestinians are capable of deep fakes.

Even IF it's fake, doesn't change the fact it's all being cheered on.

I don't think these people can be defended anymore.

I would not be surprised if there are many atrocities. But this "poor me" image they are trying to sell about Israel is a crock of shit. I've seen politicians over there gloating about killing women and children, and when called on it, they just double down. You think the left are mad? Try the right over in Israel. Fucking hell.

Seems clear who is doing most of the killing. Hamas staging attacks on Israel should not come as a surprise. Clearly Israel is not interested in solving the issue peacefully and that means war.

So you get stuff like this. Now Israel is probably going to kill tens of thousands in response. And that will be "good".

Mitch asks a good question. Who are the good guys? I don't see anybody worth supporting. People yes, but not governments, religions, political agendas. Partisan nonsense all of it.

Believe none of what you hear and half of what you see is a good rule in this world.

Yes probably something like that.

Still doesn't make any sense. People aren't suddenly going to buy the vinyl just because it's not on itunes. How many people even have a turn table? If you want the vinyl you are going to get it no matter what. All they're doing with this is to encourage pirating.

Some of these new lyrics are growing on me. Really sets the mood. Talking instead of singing actually makes it more personal.

Did you like it? I liked the fourth, but I'm probably not watching this.

Heat is fantastic. Surely Michael Mann's best work.

I've been thinking, why do we like criminals? It's not the crime, I don't get the urge to go out and steal or kill after watching the movie, but there is an aspect of the lifestyle that is appealing. I don't want them to be caught. These guys are free, independent. They do what they want, the law be damned. And this movie does it with style. No apologies.

The cast is simply legendary. Al Pacino, Robert De Niro, Val Kilmer, Tom Sizemore, Amy Brenneman, Danny Trejo, Ashley Judd, Diane Verona, Wes Studi, Mykelti Williamson, Ted Levine, William Fichtner, Jon Voight, Tom Noonan, Kevin Gage, Jeremy Piven, Dennis Haysbert, Natalie Portman. They even managed to sneak John Connor's foster father in there.

While I do not get the urge to steal and kill, I am tempted to get an old Buick and sit under a bridge at 2AM, looking over my shoulder and talking about it being "worth the stretch".

My first impressions.

Speak To Me/Breathe is as you say great, maybe the only song you could say is truly better than the original.

On The Run has great music but this is a talky song which brings it down.

Time is a wonderful version.

Great Gig In The Sky is probably the song that is hardest to fit into this scheme. You can't really replace those vocals with anything and still have it be epic. Still a good effort.

Money is another great version. Some parts are better than the original, some are not.

Us And Them is pretty good, not fantastic.

Any Colour You Like, Brain Damage and Eclipse are all great.

I wonder if this will get any media play:

The Prez abusing a dog on camera.

It's out now. Just gave it a listen.

I say it's a masterpiece. Not better or replacing the original but complementing it. That was young men, this is one old man. The musical landscape is truly marvelous, and the rumor that Waters was talking lyrics over the solos is not really true. On all the important bits he lets the music do the talking.
