I know of only one person who bought CD and he didn't even know it had been released. He saw it in the store thought "a new Guns N' Roses cd?" and bought it. No listening to streams, no wondering about it, no nothing. he saw it and bought it. I guarantee you most "curious" purchaces happend this way.
You know how many times I've seen a new relase I didn't know even existed and just bought it out of curiosity? A LOT! Most people didnt' give a flying fuck to stream the album or to google search it or to search out what chain the album was being sold at. Most purchases likely came from impulse buys when people saw the damn thing in the new release section.
I don't know about all that, but I'm quite sure your avatar is going to cause somebody to have a seizure here eventually.

David Mugar, the Boston-area businessman and philanthropist who has executive produced the show for nine years, confirmed yesterday that the footage was altered. He said this was the first year such alterations were made.
Mugar said the added images were above board because the show was entertainment and not news. He said it was no different than TV drama producer David E. Kelley using scenes from his native Boston in his show “Boston Legal’’ but shooting the bulk of each episode on a studio set in Hollywood.
“Absolutely, we’re proud to show scenes from our city,’’ Mugar said. “It’s often only shown in film or in sporting matches. We were able to highlight great places in Boston, historical places with direct ties to the Fourth. So we think it was a good thing.’’
A CBS Television spokesman declined comment about whether the network was aware of, or approved of, the fireworks show being digitally altered.
The footage of the landmarks was shot several weeks ago. According to Mugar, camera crews from Boston 4 Productions, the production wing of Boston 4 Celebrations Foundation, the fireworks show’s parent, crisscrossed Boston and Suffolk County shooting video of famous landmarks one evening in May.
“I’d say we shot from about 8 p.m. till 4 or 5 the next morning,’’ Mugar said. “Among other places, we got video of the Old North Church, the State House, Quincy Market, the statue of Paul Revere, Fenway Park, with the full cooperation of the Red Sox, who let us in and turned on certain lights for our shoot. And we did it all with the intention of superimposing the fireworks over the images. The technical process is called matting.’’

The very nature of the FED is what made the housing bubble possible.
Did the Fed also lower the lending standards? Did the Fed also set up "home lending" companies produced by Wall Street to provide loans that were immediately sold off into bundled securities? Did the Fed also cause housing prices around the world to puff up?
They did it because they knew the inevitable crisis would free up the political capital for them to utilize in their game of thrones.
What in the world is this based on?
All they had to do was give government unlimited funding through a fiat system and the government would end up growing so big that tyranny would take care of it self.
What tyranny? What in the world are you talking about?
In fact I strongly suspect an inordinate amount of them are crooks and child molesters.
Huh?

Removing some government regulation and freeing up tax pressure will create jobs.
If that were true then where are all the jobs? DEMAND creates jobs not tax cuts. You're advocating repeating the same thing with a different result while ignoring fundamental aspects of economics.
Furthermore government regulation was MIA when rating companies gave out AAA scores to these bundled jack shit securities and how did that turn out? It was instrumental in taking our country to it's knees. The last thing we need it less government regulation at this point, it's what got America into this mess to begin with.
They have enough money to ensure they're not the ones being "socialized".
If anybody sucks on the government teet, more than any welfare momma you could ever dream of, it's corporations. Their socialism is from the bottom up, not the top down.

Your opinion is confined to our ability to rationalize the universe as we understand it right now. Imagine another life form(s) with a 100 million year head start on us; it surely makes me rethink everything.

I can think of few things more important for this country's citizens other than these two programs. With all the crazy talk from the GOP, the majority of people regardless of political ideology do not want these programs taken away from them. In fact many of these tea party morons caught an earful from their constituents when they returned home over this crap.
